Rear center console cooler

Rear center console cooler

Has anyone come across something like this that's just a regular cooler vs a fridge? https://a.co/d/075em66U

Even if not a specific made for model y, just one that fits well in that spot. Just something to keep a few cans cold with an ice pack.

Sleeping in front passenger seat?

Planning on camping with my son soon in our new model Y. Just got a mattress for the back and tried it out today. There is no way we can both fit back there. I'm 6'2" about 215lbs and he's only a little smaller than me. Has anyone experimented with sleeping in the front passenger seat? Obviously I know it's possible I have passengers nap there all the time on road trips. But any tips for making it a slightly better night sleep? I put the seat all the way back and all the way reclined and I can basically extend my legs all the way, just obviously at an angle. Any products to make this more viable? Thanks in advance.

Driver w/ epilepsy - used car help

My son is getting his license today. He has epilepsy. It is under control with medication, no seizures in over a year. But one of those things, it's under control until it isn't. We all roll the dice every time we're behind the wheel, but his odds of landing on snake eyes are a little higher. FSD to the rescue! I had no idea this even existed until like a month ago, and am already a proud new owner of a brand new model y :). Anyway, I have him sold on a Tesla as his car, apparently they aren't very cool in high school so it took some work. I am looking at used model S for him. My main question, is hardware v3 meaningfully different than v4 for FSD? Would it be smarter to try and find a newer used car with v4? I don't care about bells and whistles, he's 16 and doesn't need all that. I just want to make sure FSD can get him from A to B and not crash if he has a seizure. Any other used Tesla guidance or considerations? Thanks!

Trunk wall/side protection

Anyone know of any plastic or any type of wall protection/coverage for trunk of the Y? When we travel the dog goes back there. Plastic floor covering easy enough to vacuum out when we get home but the carpet walls are another story, her hair sticks to it.

FSD doesn't like hats

Seems pretty obvious now that I think about it. Did my 1st road trip on my new model y today. 1st like 15 minutes it kept yelling at me to put pressure on the wheel as if I wasn't paying attention. After a while realized that since I had my hat on the camera couldn't see my eyes. Suppose it depends on your height and type of hat. But yeh, the camera doesn't like hats.

Home charger - Whole house surge protection

Got an electrician quoting me to install my home charger. He is trying to sell me whole house surge protection for an additional $500. I can't find much online about this. 1 thread here from like 3 years ago. Anyone know anything about this? Is it needed? If so is that cost reasonable? I don't even really know what it does.

Replacement USB cable

Is it possible to buy a replacement USB cable? I keep having disconnection issues. I tried another cable and it was better, so I think my cable is faulty or has a short. But random USB c cables don't have the angle of the stock cable.

Thinking about trying this out. My current program is 5 sets of most movements. Prior to that I did GVT at 10 sets per movement, so I'm not scared of volume. Trying not to program hop too much here but at 45 I do think I'm seeing some overuse issues. I haven't don't flat bench in 2026 because it kills my shoulder. The perceived benefit is not doing same movement too often. 2 sets per movement, swapping out movements often enough where you aren't doing same exercise for more than like 5 weeks, then on to some other slight variation/angle. Im looking now more towards longevity vs most optimal gains at the moment. The logic seems sound. Anyone care to share experience running a program based on his strategy?
