MMW: trump will demand the trophy if the USA team happens to win the World Cup

(idk if this is sports or political flair)

he will insist that because of him, FIFA removed the red card, so that means he actually gets the credit if they win

EVIDENCE: the men's US Hockey win at the Olympics

DATE: whatever day the FIFA World Cup Final is

how to safely get rid of these guys?

TL;DR: is there a free and safe way to remove these?

note: i am unemployed and have zero money for pest control.

i just had new gutters installed and took care of the wood bees, and now these guys moved in in like two days!

the larger nest is close to the sidewalk at the front door. the smaller is in front of my garage door about 4-5 feet away. every time i go out to knock them down, more have joined!

SO. how dangerous are these? do they anger easily? and can i safely (for human and whatever these are) remove them?

i don't want to kill pollinators if that's what these do, but I will if that's the only way to get rid of them.

can i make a spray using any kind of spice? dish soap?

also, what are these? i am guessing yellow jackets. I'm located north of Atlanta.

UPDATE:

done! i soaked the nests with the dishsoap + peppermint oil solution, and they flew away...waited 30 mins, two came back but not to the nests, so i hit them and the nests again. the two flew away, and i soaked the nests again then knocked them down and smashed them.

they're gone.

thanks everyone for all the suggestions and advice! 🫡

Gather round, peasants! Behold at the billion dollar "free" luxury plane your taxes upgraded for me, that will also be my parting gift!

This is what future generations will have on record for how the POTUS celebrated America's 250th.

trump hasn't made a single post about uniting Americans on this special 250th Independence Day...or even pretending to. its all been childish insults about other Americans.

what is...things demented 80 y/o old men post online?

yay…Murica…whoo...hoo…yaaaaaaaay...

sorry about your long gas lines tomorrow, Philly. be careful out there!

for the rest of us peasants: who the fuck is buying this bullshit?

update: these stations are AI generated. this doesn’t exist.

>The "Freedom Fuel Network" referenced in Donald Trump's post does not actually exist. This post is part of a real-time public pressure campaign being waged by the Trump administration against gasoline retailers, utilizing AI-generated imagery and a fictional corporate identity to push real companies into lowering pump prices.

>The specific reasons behind this post include:

>

>Crude oil prices recently plummeted to around $68 a barrel, but gasoline stations have been slow to drop their pump prices accordingly. Because the public has expressed heavy disapproval over high gas prices stemming from the administration's military conflict with Iran, Trump has intensified a public relations push. Rather than naming a specific corporate entity, the administration created a fictionalized "smart Retailer" prototype to publicly challenge real gas station chains in the Northeast to follow suit and slash their prices right before the Independence Day holiday.

>2. Fabricated Branding & AI Imagery

>The images featured in the Truth Social post are AI-generated. A close look reveals classic visual hallmarks of artificial generation:

>The text on the station canopy and logo reads "Freedom Fuel Network," which is a non-existent brand.

>The background text on the pump posters dissolves into garbled, unreadable digital artifacts rather than real English words.

>The generic imagery of a pristine gas station under dramatic lighting was generated to serve as a symbolic visual representation of a "patriotic" fuel brand.

>3. Highlighting a Fictional "25-Station Discount"

>By claiming that a "Freedom Fuel Network" will lower prices at 25 stations across the Greater Philadelphia Area on July 3rd, the post uses a specific, fabricated scenario to set a benchmark. The goal is to weaponize the upcoming U.S. 250th Semiquincentennial birthday to pressure actual major regional retailers in the Philadelphia market (such as Wawa, Sunoco, and Liberty) into offering steep holiday discounts to avoid appearing unpatriotic.

update 2:
there are some truck stops that are offering a gas discount on July 3rd, if you download and use their app: Flying J….and Amazon Prime/BP for Prime members. i’m not going to advertise for them, but you can find the details online. they were not doing this in coordination with the White House.

that’s not how it works…that’s not how any of this works!

of course, his ilk will start trashing gas stations and blaming these small business owners for the gas prices when HE IS THE ONLY REASON PUMP PRICES ARE HIGH

Here is the quick, fact-based math on why station owners can't just "drop prices” on command to tell your MAGA uncle at the picnic this weekend:

  • The Inventory Lag: Retailers buy gas days/weeks in advance. They can't lower prices until they sell off the expensive fuel they already paid for.
  • Raw Oil is Only Half: A $68 barrel of oil equals about $1.62/gallon. The rest of the pump price is fixed refining, shipping, and marketing.
  • Taxes are Fixed: State and federal taxes create a hard price floor. In places like California, taxes and environmental fees add approx $1.00+ per gallon instantly.
  • Razor-Thin Margins: The actual station owner only makes about 10 to 15 cents of profit per gallon. Forcing a drop to $2.50 would put them out of business immediately.

trump defames EJC again, after SCOTUS refuses to hear his appeal in the verdict that ruled he defamed her...

so justice and democracy won a couple today at least...

SCOTUS also ruled against the trump administration in the decision over firing Lisa Cook from Federal Reserve board...she can continue with her wrongful termination lawsuit

u/ms_directed — 7 days ago

SCOTUS rules a POTUS can fire any head, of any agency, for any reason. WCGW? 🤷‍♀️

SCOTUS did rule against trump personally and the trump administration three other times today...so yay...I guess.

*update

slight correction:

The Federal Reserve Exemption: The Supreme Court explicitly drew a line at the Federal Reserve, keeping the central bank independent and shielding its governors from at-will firing due to its unique economic role

(so atm, he still can't fire Lisa Cook)

it sucks that we have a POTUS who we can't say for certain knows when something is satire 🙄

ICYMI: The Babylon Bee is the Conservative version of The Onion. its been around for a long time, long enough for POTUS team to know this is satire.

i hate that we don't know if the POTUS knows that 😕

President “Milk Toast” just can’t quit Obama…even after a decade.

ICYMI: the term is “milquetoast” not “Milk Toast”

i was told Iran had no militaries or drones left because trump "obliterated 100% of them", so this is awkward...
