Today, the OS updated to 86.910.19.2-1.6.
I’ve yet to see any improvements. Anyone seeing anything in their end?
Has anyone successfully spliced additional cable length between the two sets of lights?
I need a total of 14’ between the two sets, but it is hardwired at about 6’. I’m curious if anyone has spliced and of so, didn’t suffer from voltage drops or other issues.

Looking for some assistance with adding Matter devices to Home Assistant.
First and foremost, I’m a newbie with HA. A buddy of mine set it up for me on a repurposed Dell workstation. My home is primarily Matter over Thread or Matter over WiFi devices, with Apple Home being my preferred platform. I commission everything through Apple Home first. I have some direct HA integrations - Govee, Tapo, etc. I’ve shared my Thread credentials with HA.
We have an Amazon thread network as well, but I’m trying to eliminate that to minimize interference and eventually remove it completely. As an interim step, I’m removing devices from Amazon’s thread network and adding via Matter (multi admin from Apple) to HA, exposing them Amazon via Nabu Casa.
Yesterday, I was able to add four or five devices this to HA successfully via Matter and expose to Amazon Alexa. I could see the alerts from Apple Home and Amazon Alexa that the devices were added, but the HA interface just spun with “adding the device. This may take a minute or two.” I eventually X out and/or receive a message that it failed to add device, but see the devices in HA and Amazon Alexa are added. This morning, all of the devices I added are showing not unavailable in HA and not responding in Alexa.
Am I doing something wrong?
For the life of me, I cannot find a setting on this TV to keep the network from going to sleep when the TV is off.

Picked up a 75” VQD75R-1004 last week.
Tv works great (wish it had Ethernet), but the remote is…slow.
It lags, especially when changing volume or channels.
Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes?
Is anyone else having issues with DirecTV Stream sound fluctuations?
I’ve had this on two different TV’s over the past few days - one using the native Vizio OS app on a new tv and one using an Apple TV 4K Ethernet current gen on a TCL TV.
The sound will either mute or get loud.

I sure hope these cures the infotainment system, because it sure is buggy.
I’m upgrading my router and mesh to WiFi 7. I’ll be leaving the SSID and password the same as my current setup.
MOST of my smart devices are Matter over Thread or Matter over WiFi. Some non-Matter devices are connected to Apple Home via Home Assistant.
Is there anything I need to do in preparation for this WiFi equipment swap?

I’ve set up nine Hue Essentials bulbs direct with Matter over Thread (no Hue bridge) in Apple Home.
The past two I’ve tried to set up will absolutely not connect. Setting them up in Apple Home, they aren’t even being seen as “nearby.” Typing in the Matter code nor scanning the Matter QR code in the paper will work.
I’m assuming perhaps it’s in ZigBee mode? Any way to get it into Matter over Thread mode?
