Y'all how do you guys set a routine and stick to it esp like for long term goals that require an everyday effort? I either study the whole day to finish a topic and am deeply invested for like a week or I don't at all, Is it jus me?

Ps. I don't wake up early, I wake up if I wake up, i sleep when I'm absolutely exhausted 😭 (it's not all the time tbh idk vacations eff my routine up, just wanted to know how diff people cope w it), my parents have given up officially trying to set my routine up

To all the disciplined folks or ex-raatbharscrollingkarke-shaam-mei-uthne-wale 🥀

uh okay so, is this normal?

Uh okay so for context, I'm like in my uni years yk, so I've been doing the "deed" (jacking off) every night to sleep, but like a few days ago, I did it like 3 or 4 times in a single row and my cl** started hurting, and kept hurting for 4 days and even more on touch. Hmm then it became normal but does m**turbation have any side effects for women? Does it break anything? Does it mean that real sex wouldn't excite me that easily? Would i suffer from vaginismus?

Esp for the future , cuz this incident has made me avoid it at all costs now , also any advice on how I can focus on studying instead of this stuff 😭 cuz idk when I became like this but this is my default cycle: "placement seasons coming in an year I need to be consistent" "brb do dat thing" "ah Im tired now, I'll start tomorrow *sleeps" kinda hard to focus (it has become an every damn day thing for me )

Istps in their early 20s building tech careers/their careers, how do you stay consistent?

So I'm 20f , 3rd year of uni about to start, what's happening with me is that I did heavy research to find a field that I like and which is safe and not fucked by the job market, and after days of research and analysis paralysis. I found out: it's hard. Like. Really hard. And after all the hardwork they pay peanuts. For real.

How do I choose a domain and stick to it because my Ti absolutely sees no tangible future or results or a point that could be gotten if I work hard rn since hard work in this job market is of no point acc to me, it doesn't pay off, toh work w shitty people and ai (ugh). (Webdev/machine learning/business analytics/data analytics- maybe if ur in tech u could help me out, even if u aren't in tech but have something to advice, much appreciated)

ps. All advices are welcome 😭🙏🏼🙏🏼 please.

What do u think are non negotiables in the industry rn? Are data analysts going towards machine learning now?

Aight women in tech assemble, help a girl out what domain in it should i choose? select me a domain n tell me where I can realistically work (yk like startups, Fintech big tech banks etc)

Can't decide on a domain

Bruv. I'm in 3rd year, tier 69 uni(9.19 cgpa) without a placement cell, i can't afford to waste any more time, I'm literally stuck in analysis paralysis since like 3 weeks

  1. Web dev: okayish jobs but projects need to be unique

  2. Data science, Agentic ai or machine learning or nlp or gen ai: masters and PhD are preferred often.

  3. Data analytics: rest in peace, it's over.

  4. Cybersec and cloud and data engineering type fields require prior experience and then they convert from inside the company to the other team.

  5. Java dev: it majority have senior role for 5 year experience jobs.

So what the f is a fresher supposed to do apart from dsa since dsa is required for passing interviews for any role obviously. But since I'm in tier 3, my domain matters too, since I'll have to mass apply to all sites of jobs

+ I tried web dev learning html css then js then gon learn typescript but then idk I don't like it I hate it, whereas in ml i like the theory but after doing web dev i feel like I'm starting over from a blank slate and the thinking part and plus I like python better 😭🙏🏼

I know GitHub git, java for dsa (which i also hate but what can I do), I tried springboot since java was my dsa lang but oh well springboot is jack shit, hmm I'm 20f + I can't do masters since my dad believes in "beti padhao sirf btech tak"

Ps. I have anxiety issues due to which the uncertainty of the job market makes me want to choose the safest option which ik sounds wtv but please give me realistic reasoning behind ur advice to calm my inner voice
