Who’s hoping that after book 3 they’ll get renewed to do book 4 containing the comics?

Toph opening up her metal bending school, Azula’s psychosis, Zuko as fire lord. I wanna see all of it since we never got it animated.

Ok, not sure what to do from here…

Basically, the 3 images are all from different dye sessions to compare. My virgin hair which you’ll see in the roots of the top image is around a level 3-4 dark brown.

Top image is from January of 2025, after my roots grew out from the dye in October 2024. I used a high lift U63 L’Oréal Paris golden brown dye

Middle image is from July of 2025, i cut my hair before dying so what i dyed was virgin again. I used a high lift L’Oréal Paris downtown brown dye (which i hated lol)

Lower image is today. I did a multi step process and stuck with regular permanent dye rather than a high lift. First, which started a week ago, I used a L’Oréal Paris lightest golden brown permanent dye, then a couple days later i decided it wasn’t quite light enough and i wanted to apply another dye, so i used a clarifying shampoo a couple days later, then i did a color removing process (yes, the whole process including that long rinsing and repeated shampoo process UGH lol), and i let my hair rest a couple more days. Then yesterday, I used a L’Oréal Paris 8G Golden Blonde permanent dye which appeared to have lightened it a bit more, and this morning which is what the lower image is is after I did a honey blonde toner, rinsed, dried, and then a moisturizing hair mask.

So, I probably put my hair through more than I should’ve to get it to where it is now, but I actually really like this result. It is… still just a bit too dark though. So, I’m aware if I do want to go lighter, box dye pretty much hit the limit of how much it can lift my hair and I’ll have to do a bleaching process. I think i only want to go just a shade lighter, maybe at most a shade and a half, so anyone here with experience, do you have advice on what to use for this? My goal is a warm honey blonde, and if i understand hair levels accurately, i don’t want to go past a level 8. Im having a hard time assessing what level my hair is currently at though because it looks so different in different lighting.

For context, i have thicker curly hair which seem to cast a ton of shadows. it’s Puerto Rican if that helps.

Just finished S3xE11, and wow I can’t believe how much I slept on this show growing up

I remember my mom watching this in the 90s when I was a kid, and I don’t know why it took so long to finally watch it as an adult, maybe I thought it’d be hard getting into because of the camp and it being an older show, but I was so wrong. I actually think Xena is a really prime example of what a lot of modern television is lacking. It stuck to its identity and didn’t try to pride itself in realism. It was full on fantasy with a ton of camp to keep it grounded, but so many brutally dark moments like on this episode. I’ve just never experienced this kind of storyline in television. I mean… a secret son being murdered by a mutant Demi-god daughter of the son’s mother’s best friend. It is a very unsettling, tragic, heart wrenching, and gutsy storyline involving children that I hadn’t seen in television at this level before. Xena’s grief is understandable, predictable, yet still so massive, and Gabrielle’s deep remorse… Solan’s innocence, the creepiness of Hope… this episode was incredible. Also, Callisto is such a well written victim-turned-villain. Everything went full circle for Xena by this point because of her past. When my mom was watching Xena in the 90s I remember the storyline about Xena’s daughter, the time jump from her being frozen and a whole mess from there, so I can’t wait to properly watch that also.

Playing the Call of Cthulhu game on Steam, and wow I can’t believe how amazing the atmosphere is

I haven’t gone very deep into lovecraftology (if that’s a word lol). So far I’ve only played games that have touched on it like Still Wakes The Deep, and I see many say Soma is lovecraftian, so also Soma I’ve played. I loved Still Wakes The Deep so much, and I understand it barely touches on the subject, but the creatures were so different from typical monsters and demons from other media, so I looked into other lovecraftian games and stumbled on this one. I don’t really like detective games, so I’m so surprised at how much I’m enjoying this, I guess because the eeriness of everything is played so well during the whole investigation, instead of it seeming separate from it. Anyway, I know this isn’t really a gaming group, just thought I’d share my appreciation for this. I’m only on chapter 6 lol

Did anyone else notice that when Teddie made a promise to >!Nanako to play with her and his SL ranks up to 4, he learns Recarm!<? Was that coincidental, or was that a sign?

(S8xE1) I just noticed how Boris was sweating bullets when Gordon was ripping him a new one for mocking him 😂

This man was fearing for his life 😂 what are some other funny moments of season 8 for you? Personally I loved just about every confessional from Sabrina and Jillian

What if Hanako was the final final boss after Izanami?

What would her Persona be? I thought of Abaddon, but I wanted to try an original boss. I don’t think we’ve seen a version of Barbatos, correct me if I’m wrong

(S7) Does anyone know what happened to Scott after his run?

He was my favorite contestant on S7 and possibly of all time next to Heather S2 and Christina S4. I thought he was an amazing somewhat ok chef with somewhat above average skill that should’ve made it at least to the final 2, he was the best and it’s a shame Gordon didn’t get to see that. Does anyone know what he’s doing now? And what were your thoughts on his time on the show?

Ok… it’s time… SOJIRO vs DOJIMA if they had personas

What Personas would they have, and who would win between the two? Also, which one do you like more and why?

My answer: Dojima could have Cu Chulainn Sojiro could have Koga Saburo

I feel like Sojiro could be a slightly more aggressive persona user and may have an edge on Dojima

I like Dojima more though

What is going on with con Edison bills?

3 years ago when i moved into my apartment (early spring in an pre-war building, before window A/C usage) my bill would be around $100-$115 a month, at most $130 until i started using A/C then it would average around $170. And i was cooking a lot more than i am now so gas was part of that. Now i barely use gas cuz my bill has gotten more expensive every year. $200-$220 before A/C use, barely using gas to cook. And i have radiators so no electric is being used for that. I just don’t understand why my bill has doubled and i see so many complaining about their bills also. I know lots of people will say my bill is low compared to them, but I live alone, no kids and don’t leave lights on unless im a room using it. I fear that i will be too scared to use my A/C much this summer as my bill could be over $300+. I’m in a 1 bedroom apt in the Bronx btw.

Need a new game to play and thinking about Crimson Desert

I’m not sure I can say I’m into open world games. There are lots of semi-open world games I love, like Black Myth Wukong, Metal Gear Solid 5, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is pretty good, but a fully open world game where you can mostly go anywhere at any point in whatever order you want? Idk. I tried playing Death Stranding 2 and just felt bored. Same with Cyberpunk, Witcher 3 and RDR2. I just didn’t connect with those games. I did have fun with Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima and the two Horizon games though. I do like a bit of linearity if it helps.

Some other series I love are Persona 3-5: mostly 3 because of its darker theme Shin Megami Tensei 3-5, mostly 4 because it feels most oppressive Yakuza Series (not the turn based ones, I know lots of people love them, but it doesn’t work for me in a beat em up) Mass Effect trilogy Dead Space Callisto Protocol Silent Hill Resident Evil series is probably my favorite game series of all time Metal Gear of course

Some other games I played recently that I really enjoyed are Still Wakes The Deep (first game with no combat that kept me hooked) Monster Hunter Stories 3 (really enjoyed this, I played Wilds also but it didn’t stick) Tomb Raider reboot trilogy Cronos the new Dawn was pretty good Control Alan Wake 1 and 2 (liked 1 more) Mindseye (yeah i know it has awful reviews but i really enjoyed it twice) Stellar Blade Days Gone (a gem and I hope one day someone picks it up for a sequel) Alien Isolation (the other alien games didn’t stick)

Some games I thought I would like but didn’t at all Until Dawn Uncharted series Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Anyway I don’t want to list every single game I’ve played lol. But I could play Metal Gear Solid 5 over and over and never be bored with it. Something about the gameplay loop is addicting to me.

What are some things about Crimson Desert that might stick out to me based on my interest though, and what about it might make it not the right game in your opinion?

Sorry for the long post

After 3 weeks I’m still “sick”, dry throat, coughing and my boss (also an asthmatic) says to stay indoors to avoid the pollen, but i don’t remember it ever being reportedly so bad, at least not in the Bronx. Is this usual in NYC?
