Today is a day to honor and recognize those currently serving and remember those we lost. As fire season is in full swing, wildland firefighters deserve the support and recognition for all that they do— which is some of the most grueling work around. They deserve the recognition, adequate resources and the opportunity to come home safely.

To all the wildland firefighters— THANK YOU.

Love hearing fireworks when the state is in a stage 3 drought and most of it’s on fire and we just had three tragic deaths of wildland firefighters. If you want to respect and honor our country, don’t be a fucking idiot and set off explosives. Genuinely sickens me. End rant.
