slow makati afternoons

The grass is green and lush after weeks of rain. Couples, friends, and families are out enjoying the break from the downpour. I see a man lying directly on the grass, basking in the gentle afternoon sun. I wish I were as carefree as him.

Several people are sitting nearby, absorbed in their books. I find my own corner and sit still, stunned by the scene unfolding before me. My camera cannot do justice to how perfectly the sun shines through the trees’ canopy, nor can it capture the quiet chatter of friends gathered on their laid-out picnic blankets.

I breathe a silent prayer. I thank God for the privilege of slowing down and noticing the beauty around me. And I pray that I won’t become too caught up in life to forsake such beauty.

26 [F4M] raging against the dying of the light

i’ve been so caught up with work the past year/s that i didn’t have the chance to really landi or go on dates.

i’m almost at the point na na i wanna give up finding the love of my life. pero yeah, wanna try one more time haha so this is me raging against the dying of the light.

instead of giving info about myself, i’d tell u the things i wanna do in life:

  1. learn to surf/free dive
  2. just chill at the beach or any body of water
  3. learn to ride a motorbike para maging ganap na island gurl
  4. read books!!!
  5. just walk around makati or picnic sa ATG
  6. do a photowalk
  7. cafe hop
  8. wine & chess
  9. play badminton/pickleball/volleyball
  10. karaoke!!!

deinfluence me from rage quitting my job

I am miserable with my job. It’s taking a toll on me. Kahit weekend, iniisip ko sya and wala akong peace of mind kaya I don’t really feel rested. I dread Mondays and the rest of the days na I need to work.

I’m currently actively applying for jobs. But I don’t know if mahihintay ko pa ba na may malilipatan. I’m legit beginning to have su*c*d*l ideations.
But yeah, I’m living alone with no safety net.
