Does this look bad?

I feel insecure because of my skin’s scarring and texture :( is there anything I can improve? This time I didn’t use concealer under my eyebags so don’t mind that!

One thing I’m struggling with is definitely mascara, my eyelashes are very straight and despite using an eyelash curler + tried multiple waterproof/non waterproof mascara they get heavy, still have to find a good one, or perhaps I put too much? But they really don’t hold up😭

Another thing is primer.. I have a grippy primer but perhaps I should try a silicone one over the scars?

Also despite doing skincare already, I feel like it gradually grows patchy after some hours. Is it normal? I feel like powder could be the case, but I’ve been using it less as I don’t really get its use. What’s the difference between powder and a setting spray, performance speaking?

Thanks for reading and any tips are appreciated!

Irritation and tightness after cleansing, what can I do?

My skin is sensitive and normal to dry, prone to CC.

I’ve been noticing that my skin feels too often tight after cleansing. Its like it goes in periods? It has happened in the past before already.. always used the same cleanser. Currently, my skin is not handling being cleansed yet again. This has been going for a week now.

I completely stopped using cleanser in the morning, just water, moistruiser and spf. With water it seems to be just fine, but at night since i need to use something to take the spf off, i use la roche posay toleriane dermo cleanser.

This cleanser is supposed to be gentle and soothing, so I don’t get why my skin just doesn’t tollerate it. The nights where i have to remove makeup as well, i add in micellar water first for double cleansing, but this leaves my skin feeling even tighter. It’s definitely also the friction from the cotton pad but I feel worried, I’ll have to start wearing makeup everyday from work as it’s required and I’m unsure how to do it now.

The thing is, the following morning when i wake up, i dont feel any tightness anymore and my skin feels normal again?

I currently don’t use any actives. I struggle to understand if its the cleanser or my skin barrier, any tips would be appreciated

For the other products I use, its very minimal:

  • bioderma ultra creme moisturiser
  • avene thermal water
  • bioderma photoderm ar spf 50

Damaged barrier or wrong product? Tightness after cleansing skin

My skin is sensitive and normal to dry, prone to CC.

I’ve been noticing a pattern where sometimes using a cleanser is fine and I have no reaction, while other times it’s the opposite. Currently, my skin is not handling being cleansed yet again. This has been going for a week now.

Next morning when i wake up, i dont feel any tightness anymore and it feels normal again.

I currently don’t use any actives. I struggle to understand if its the cleanser or my skin barrier, any tips would be appreciated

Feeling pretty down after my last interview

I’ve been job hunting for some months now. My only experience was an internship I did 2 years ago in sales, so I know the job market is pretty hard for someone like me. Still, I made sure to apply to very entry level positions (mostly sales assistant) did some interviews but had no luck so far.

Yesterday I had an interview for a part time position, always in sales. The job listing requested no prior experience and no particular qualifications or skills.

It was the best interview I had during all those months. The store manager was really nice and told me they’d support me on my first days, and that there’s not much to learn, just focus on the other colleagues and take inspiration from them for the sales aspect. Told me how to job is quite easy. I left very satisfied and hopeful I had a chance to get hired.

This morning I received a call and I was very excited by the quickness of it. I though that was it🥹 instead.. they called to say that I had no experience for the role. They instead offered an internship full time for 6 months. The store manager told me she really liked our interview but apparently it was her manager’s decision.

My day is ruined since this morning’s call. I can’t help but be disappointed, definitely my fault for being too excited perhaps, but I wish they’d have disclosed it before or organised between them better, because what do you mean neither in the listing nor during the interview you couldn’t let me know I may not have the experience you’re looking for the position?

Finding a job, even a basic entry level cashier, is becoming way too hard. In my country it’s usual to offer internships to pay the minimum and overwork the trainee. I wonder if I should just give up and let them exploit me and this point, because its starting to become exhausting

I get typed as a Summer, what do you think?

NMIP

I get typed as a soft/light summer, but I need opinions. I don’t think I’m a winter, Spring also seems to lighten my complexity?

Face paint skin not matching, is there a fix?

Just made nana and used face paint skin around her eyes, painted over them. It’s a lighting problem? Despite being the skin colour it appears lighter

VOUCH for the amazing u/Particular-Crab-2729

If you’ve seen the last posts of our sub owner u/Particular-Crab-2729 you may be aware already that she’s been facing harassment from people accusing her to be a scammer who fakes giveaways.

I’ve just won a prize from her and the minimum I could do is make this post to vouch for her. It’s sad to have to state the obvious and I’m sorry to disappoint, but she’s very much legit!
