Two-Handed Warrior Build Advice

Hey there. I bought WOTR years ago and bounced off of it multiple times before deciding that it just wasn't for me. Since then, I've played the original Baldur's Gate games so I think it might be high time to dive into it again with a bit more classic CRPG experience under my belt.

That experience aside, I'm still by no means knowledgeable on Pathfinder so I'm not sure how to build my character. I'm thinking of going with a two-handed warrior type character, preferably with a half-orc as the race. I'm just not sure what class would be best for that, however. Open to essentially any class from barbarian to even like a ranger or something so long as it could be primarily in melee using a two-handed weapon. I'm seeing a two-handed fighter archetype but I'm not sure if it's good or not.

I'm also open to any other build advice such as feats and the like. Will probably end up rolling with normal difficulty if that affects it at all. I'm heavily considering doing Azata as my mythic path but also considering Angel. Anyone have any thoughts?

Any advice for getting the supports off without breaking it? They usually just pop off for me but think I made them too thick for the size

Just beat BG1 for the first time. Siege of Dragonspear or BG2 next? Transfer question as well.

Hey everyone! I just finished BG1 and had a great time. I should definitely thank everyone on this subreddit for giving me advice the couple of times I came seeking it.

I'm unsure which campaign to play next. It's my understanding that SoD is a relatively recent addition despite taking place between the two main entires so I'm not sure if I should go for release order or timeline order when I decide what order to play them. Also, if I'm being honest, the voiced sections of BG1 that I encountered (which I later found out were Beamdog additions, the developers that made SoD) had notably worse writing than the rest of it so I'm a bit hesitant to dive into a game fully written by them.

Is SoD worth playing in general and, if it is, should I play it before or after BG2?

Also, how would I go about exporting my character to BG2? I see the export button on my status screen but the game went straight to SoD after I beat it. Would I just export from here or is there something I have to do in BG1 proper? I know some items transfer with you to BG2, is it fine if my character has them equipped or should they be in loose in the inventory or something?

Help getting past Karoug. Can't even make it past his initial group of henchmen (Party shown in images)

This is the last quest I have to do before >!returning to Baldur's Gate to face the iron throne (which I imagine is the final battle) !<but I'm completely stumped as to how to beat Karoug.

There's tons of advice online for beating Karoug himself but I can't even get that far because his entourage just swarms me once the battle starts and I don't have much time to do anything before my party starts dropping like flies. This coupled with the panic spell cast at the beginning makes it a mess to protect any of my mages or ranged attackers and, once they fall, my melee people don't have much of a chance.

My usual strategy thus far for dealing with very hard bosses was just to summon a bunch of minions myself but, due to the way this room is laid out, I don't have the opportunity to cast the spells to do so here.

In terms of tools to work with I have the equipment shown and a ton of potions in Coran's potion bag. I tried stacking a bunch of potions of heroism and just sending in Androrc but it wasn't much use. I imagine that I'm missing some obvious stratagem that, once applied, would get me past the swarm of werewolves and let me focus on the man (wolfman?) himself. Any thoughts?

Edit: Just beat him! Thank you everyone!

Questing with partner in the trial

Hey there! My brother and I want to play an MMO to go questing together. Would FFXIV be a good fit for this? I imagine it would be but want to make sure that we can stay in a party together and play with one another for extended periods of time. That is to say, there wouldn't be single player only sections that are too long or frequent (though some is fine, of course).

We'd like to try the trial version to completion before we shell out the cash for the full game and I wanted to make sure that wouldn't preclude us from playing together. It seems that we wouldn't be able to start our own party but I've heard that that can be easily circumvented by just asking another player to put us in a party together, would that work?

[Acne] I was on Accutane (30-40 mg) for six months or so and a month later the acne (even cystic) came back.

(19m)

I'm not sure what to do at this point. Those six months were some of the hardest months of my life. The memory issues hit me hard (I have had an eidetic memory my whole life so I had to relearn studying from first principles in the middle of exams when I realized I lost it). I'm starting law school next year so another cycle isn't an option due to this.

I guess I made this post to ask for advice; is this normal as you get off of it or does this mean it was unsuccessful? If the latter, what should I use?

Cycle recap as a 19 year old above the median for both LSAT and GPA for literally every school in the country

Excited to announce that WashU does not live up to their reputation of always accepting above median

In case it isn't self-explanatory: green is A, red is R, and yellow is WL

I'm not attached to any part of the build besides being a two-handed martial (though staying a half-orc would be nice) so feel free to change anything to make it better
