Seeking assistance identifying this beautiful 5” bud vase I just acquired. Some Google Lens returns suggest it could be Stuart & Sons UK from the early 20th century. It is not UV reactive. Thank you!
I just found this likely 60s embroidered loop collar pearl snap western shirt at a vintage shop. I was immediately smitten as I’d never seen this collar on a western style shirt. The issue as you’ll see in the photos are the numerous tears in the cotton fabric. Could this be from mould? Is there any way I could have this repaired, or is the rest of the fabric likely to tear in the same way? I didn’t pay a lot for it given the damage, so I don’t mind spending a little bit to mend it. Thank you
I bought it because it just looks cool. The original owner bought it at an antique shop. The bottle is sealed shut and that’s all the info I have. When I transported it home it was lying horizontally, and there were substantially more bubbles than you see now. Any hypotheses would be great. Thanks
Not a movie poster but a Danish filmprogrammer, a program or booklet handed out at cinemas. I’m a big Al Hirschfeld fan and it seems this version of key art for Anchors Aweigh is rare. Has anyone else seen it on a poster or perhaps other international versions? Also just wanted to share because it’s supercool.
Hoping for assistance identifying this print which was purchased in Toronto recently. Approx 9x6”. I can’t read the signature, and Google Lens did not yield any helpful info. Thank you
Would love some insight on this painting I just acquired. Bought in Toronto, Canada and it measures 13.25” x 17”. To my untrained eye it’s an oil on canvas on a wooden board. Google Lens suggested a couple of different famous paintings which are not matches. Obviously in the style of some famous work. Thanks in advance.
Seems photographs are permitted here. Trying to identify the subject and photographer. Feels early 80s to me with his attire. There’s a German expressionist vibe to the shadows, and if it’s not clear, the chair has been drawn in with a grease pencil or similar. A bit of a sepia tone. Print is an odd size around 11.5 x 15”. Purchased in Toronto. Adding info on how it was identified when originally sold. Thank you
Hoping someone can help me pinpoint the show and ideally the photographer who took this shot of Mick. The only info I have is 1970s and that’s it’s possibly from a show in California. His jacket with that native-like print is distinctive, so maybe someone will have an idea. I’ve tried Google Lens and it was not helpful. Thank you
