Hit me with your deal with the devil books.

Something with a faustian bargain, revolving around selling your soul, dark rituals, things of this sort. Bonus points if it has a dash of occult and witches in the mix. Recently watched this movie HIM (2025) and it too for based on sacrificing your soul for worldy riches... liked it personally.

Still can't watch the last episode..

I was in my early 20s in 2021 when I watched six feet under for the first time and couldn't have fathomed the impact it'd have on me as person. It changed my idea around life, made me aware of how fleeting life was and I can't think of another show that comes remotely close to this.

So during the last season I knew there was no way I could let it end for me.. I consciously chose to not watch the finale and save it for future me and revisit the show... like I did for the first time..

I know it might sound strange but I feel starting over would hit me like nothing else...

Taurine almost feels illegal

A fortnight back I added taurine, (1-2g) to my night stack which already had Ashwa, glycine, Magnesium, theanine etc and I wasn't prepared for how fast it would hit me.

Didn't know if it had any impact on my sleep per se but the impact on performance while working out feels supernatural. I redline with my fixie and even going zone 4 for an hour or more it doesn’t even feel like I have started. Post workouts I'm not even half as fatigued and it feels unreal.

Always associated Taurine with energy drinks and steered clear of it but this is a MONSTER of a supplement i wish I had started sooner.

Apple Cider Vinegar? Yay or Nay?

Never understood the hype around it but there's a group that promises that it is gold and does insane stuff for your gut?! Does it?

Is it worth a try or should I not bother?

It was huge in the late 2010s but rn the hype seems to have died.

Fish Oil vs Krill Oil vs Vegan Omega.. which one is the best?

I know Eating fish is better but out of these 3 options which one is actually the best? Is krill oil worth the extra money? And does the algal based one work as good as the other 2?

Also the epa/dha in krill oil ones is remarkably lower than fish oil ones by a lot.

Thanks

Haven't seen a doctor since going sugar free?!

This might sound like a stretch but since quitting sugar in Nov 22 after maxing out on all forms of sugar via coke and UPF through my teenage this wasn't the benefit I thought going sugar free could bring.

Fevers/ Cold, I get once or twice a year but they wane fast and surprisingly I haven't even taken any meds in the past 4 years!

I do other things too but sugar free is the literal engine driving these benefits in my opinion.

Why is hollywood pushing Devil Worship/ Human Hunting rn?

I don't know if you have noticed this but off late there has been a rise in movies along similar themes involving selling your soul, rich people preying on normal people for fun.

Why is this happening? Convenient to de sensitize the masses, eh?

Is redlining while riding bikes/ cardio bad for longevity?

Cardio is fun but only when I am maxing out on my HR and not following the advise to maintain a pace at which I can talk. Even when I try to do that I inadvertently find myself clamouring for more pace. It's not HIIT either becasue I just max out for as long as I can.

I am in my mid 20s rn and max hr can reach 198 and my avg hr for the rides are in the 170s.

Is it sustainable? Or should I move to zone 2 for longevity even if it isn't as fun.

Thanks

What would be part of your Forever Young protocol?

Something in addition to sleep, omega, 0 added sugar, 0 alcohol/smoking, sunscreen, astaxanthin, working out, 0 upf, glycine etc..

Something additional that is sustainable and worthwhile..
