I am planning to learn Ukulele. And I have no idea where and which kind I should buy. I checked some online stores in my country (Germany) and they have different kinds (Sopran, Concert, Tenor, Bass, Traditional, Baritone, etc.).

What are the things that I should consider in buying Ukulele? As a broke student, I don’t want to spend a lot as well. To Europeans in the group, what are the popular online stores where I can buy Ukulele?

I am a left handed person who would like to start playing Ukulele. Two questions:

1. How difficult is it to learn this instrument for someone who has never played any instrument before?
2. Can I buy a normal ukulele or is there specific kind for left handed person?
