Struggling To Beat Harold

I've only recently been able to consistently make it through to Harold every run after about 60 hours of playing, and It's just been really tough to play through the same campaign all the way through just for the CHANCE at beating Harold. It takes like an hour to get to him, and then I lose anyway. It's just a lot.

I've played a lot of difficult games, but nothing quite like this. Ultimately this feels harder than it was to beat Sekiro and other souls games, since with those I could at least rush back to the boss. With this, there's really no rushing back to Harold, you just gotta do the entire run over - randomness, jank and all.

This honestly harkens back to quarter eater arcade games from the 80s and 90s. No game today should really be striving to be like a fucking quarter eater. Like, I already gave you my money, and I understand and am decently competent at the game. WTF are we doing at this point.

At this point, I'm kinda just over the whole game, which is sad, cause the game's fucking sick, and there's a lot more to do, but I can't keep doing the same thing and getting the same results. It just takes way too much time. There's VERY little progression here. This is very unlike Warriors games

Reclaimers kinda bait for scrolls?

(for scrolls) It feels like by the time I could buy all the reclaimers, I legitimately could have bought most of the scroll upgrades that I wanted

Are there dodge i-frames?

Has anyone been able to effectively confirm if dodge has i-frames? Sometimes I think it does have i-frames, sometimes I'm not sure

Secret Weapon?

Do you have to get all the items in a single run? If so, I'll probably ignore it, since after 50 hours I've never seen a single piece anywhere

Everything Red

The sky is red, the rocks are red, there's red lava, the floor is red with blood, enemy health is red, armor is red, things explode red, enemy attack zones are red, screen turns red when when I'm damaged (and permanently so if my health is low enough), spikes just came out of the ground around me and turned my screen red

I. Can't. See. Anything. I'm dead

Please developers. It's cool and all, but jfc. I already gotta deal with attack indicators getting buried under or hidden behind things

Royal Bank Currencies tab?

Can someone break down the royal bank currencies tab? The organization and wording is unintuitive

I haven't purchased anything yet, so I only see the first 5% reclaimer thing. Are the other 2 reclaimers for 5% as well?

If I unlock the first reclaimer, then unlock every single prospecting, all currencies are rewarded +5%?

If I'm right, the devs need to just break the items down further so they make more sense. There's no reason not to have like 5 rows of items, 1 row for each currency, each with a simple +5% reward bonus or whatever. That'd be a much simpler system. As it is, it seems way overcooked

EDIT: based on the comment, I was mistaken.

Do companion upgrades only effect companions, or the player?

Like the first upgrade for Mariott "gain 35% heavy damage for the first 45 seconds of each battle"

Thats for the player character right? It's not like it's effecting the companion themselves?

More frequent crashing?

Anyone else getting significantly more frequent crashing since the last update? Seems like I went the first 30 hours without a single crash. Then the game updates and I get 5 different crashes. Combined with the difficulty of the game overall and lack of a campaign progress save, this is becoming pretty demoralizing

Game needs to pause when shrine rewards clan emblem

twice now I've gotten a clan emblem as a reward from a shrine at the same time as I clear the current map

the first time, this simply resulted in the clan emblem shrine reward just instantly exiting out in favor of the map reward before I was able to choose an emblem

the second time, it still resulted in the shrine reward exiting out before I could choose an emblem, but then it also crashed my game

Infantry | does weapon make a difference?

I've seen infantry with swords, axes and clubs. Does the weapon displayed on their card make a difference or is it purely cosmetic

Is the Ally Moniker Crafty just better than Charmer

Charmer grants a +10% discount on healing items with campaign merchants

Crafty grants a +10% discount with campaign merchants

am I missing something or is Crafty just objectively better?

How does the charm Arrow Tip work?

I keep picking up "Arrow Tip". The description reads "On Ally Command, shoot 4 projectiles dealing 75 damage each"

On the surface, I basically understand it. If I activate any ally command, arrow tip will activate. Thats great, but I dont visually see it very well. Are you guys able to see it? How does it work when I activate spearmen, who just thrust toward random enemies?

How can I have more than 4 profiles? I play a lot more than 4 games, and I often come back to old games, and it's gonna suck if I have to keep recreating profiles
