22F | IST | Study buddy

I'm a dropper studying for GATE, I usually study for 7-9 hrs a day but i'm stagnating these days. Need a buddy who can get on google meets/ discord/ (with/without camera/ mic) or even someone who can just keep me accountable by frequent check-ins is good enough. I use Ypt to track so I'll be sharing study time at the end of the day (the main habit I want to track). I use discord/ telegram.
I want to implement some reward/ punishment system to help me stay on track- preferably money. I am very serious about this as there's only 4 months to gate exam and females are preferred.

I don't think I'm trans, it's the misogyny

When I was young I used to be pretty fem, long hair and really interested in girly clothes but as I grew up I cut my hair and started to dress pretty masc. I did have a 'not like other girls' phrase but I grew out of it pretty fast. Currently as a masc I love makeup, dresses, nails etc (to an extent). I always knew I liked girls but I was not able to figure out my gender.

If I wake up as a guy tomorrow I won't mind it but I won't mind waking up as a girl either.

Like I'm fine with having a female body but I wanted to look masc so I thought I wanted to be a male. But I think I just don't want ppl to see me as less of a person just cuz i'm a girl. I thought I'm trans, but in reality I want ppl to see me equal to a male. I am just as capable as a male. It's just the misogyny. Like if you actually talk to males you'd realize they still demean women for doing really fem stuff.

The misogyny just pisses me off, dress like a woman you get criticized, dress like a male you get criticized, worse they call you homophobic slurs, and it's the fact that i can't do anything about the misogyny. The men and women, all r misogynistic, I just want to live on a hill along with my goats.

Because of that I want to be male but I don't want to transition and stuff. I just want equal treatment despite my gender.

GO classes are too long, PW or Unacademy?? Help my dropper chud ass.

I'm a dropper (just graduated this month and not happy with my tier 3 clg placements). I wanted to take Go classes but tbh i PHYSICALLY CANNOT DO 1500 HRS in these 6 months. Please help me. I heard made easy is good but it's too expensive for me. Should I take PW or Unacademy? Any other recommendations?? Also I would really appreciate if any senior is willing to guide me, i'd give you my first month stripend (on everyone I will).

Edit: How are Unacademy classes?? How does Unacademy lectures + go test series along with gate overflow PYQ sound?? Is this a good combo?

Minimum wage job or Gate 2027?

I'm in final year and will graduate in July.

My job pays bad and it's non tech. I didn't prepare well in btech and it's eating me out, like I'm wasting my potential in non tech. I'm from tier 3 clg so placements are really bad.

Can I realistically crack gate cse if I start preparing form now(I'll stop with my job and prepare from home, my parents are okay with it)

I was able to crack Jee advance after 12th but got only ece braches and my dad said no to them(stupid ik).

Mind you it will be my first time preparing for Gate, I didn't give it before. Can I realistically crack it??

Help me please

I'm a cs major, I'll graduate in July and I'll admit I do not have much interest in coding so I didn't really put much effort into it,so I started to apply for non-tech roles. I recently got a marketing internship through my campus placement and I hate it. There's so much bullshit work that takes hours and the pay is so less. I always got good grades and honestly I think this job is wasting my potential.

So the question is, should I do masters in cs and get myself more time to prepare for tech jobs or just continue my marketing job? (I got a PPO and the pay is still very low)

The tech market is so cooked and everyone is getting laid off and it's making me so scared for my future. But at the same time I don't want to settle to low pay.

What do I do?

I do evening shift (2PM- 12 AM) for work so it's hard for me wake up by 8AM. I'm a beginner to running so the first few days are going to be hard, i want someone to hold me accountable.

What i'll be doing is send a text that I woke up at 8 and went on a jog/ walk (I'll share strava stats for the day). If you also do morning cardio we can share progress, track and keep each other accountable,

Kind of unconventional but i've been doomscrolling like crazy these days and I want to stop and instead learn something new everyday. So i want to spend 30 min-1 hr everyday learning something new and writing an essay about it on obsidian(note taking app) . My topics of interest are

Politics

Countries and superpowers

budgeting, mutual funds and fixed deposits (personal finance)

Phones and tablets and tech

PC and it's parts

Bikes and Cars

WW2

history and leaders and their methods

plants , animals

chemistry and basics needed for survival

branded stuff

tools for social media

digital marketing

songs and bands

making friends and being friendly (social)

making apps

art and crafts ( watercolor, crochet. grafitti, anatomy and design)

anime, manhwa, movies, manga etc

If anyone's interested in something like this(you can choose your own topics), reach out to me

What we'll be doing :

  1. Decide a topic in the morning (both of us can choose different topic) and write a essay/ bullet points(100 words minimun) and share it at night

That's it. ONLY REACH OUT TO ME IF YOU ARE SERIOUS
