It’s kinda funny how Reddit started as this fully anonymous space… and now half the feed looks like a low-key Instagram clone.

Like no hate! but what’s the point of an anonymous platform if you’re out here posting full face pics, daily life updates, even personal details like it’s a public profile? The whole beauty of Reddit was always you don’t need validation through identity. Your thoughts, opinions, humor, that’s what mattered.

Now it feels like some people are slowly turning it into “rate me,” “guess my vibe,” or “here’s my face for no reason.” And yeah, you can post whatever you want, but it does make you wonder: are we losing what made Reddit different in the first place?

Maybe it’s just me, but anonymity used to mean freedom. Now it feels like people are voluntarily giving that up… for what exactly?

Curious if anyone else has noticed this shift.
