Help needed for world finals tomorrow

I drove 12 hours to make my son's dream come true. I however forgot to bring our clear backpack. I am hearing the pit party is in the parking lot. Can we take quiet breaks in the car? Can I bring a regular backpack if I put it in the car before the show? My son is on the spectrum and neither of us are used to this heat. Anyone know where ADA parking is? Thank you all so much. I am starting to panic.

Someone called 911 in the amphitheater

Rangers just stopped me on my way up asking if I saw a person injured or in distress down there. I said no and they said someone called 911 and the call dropped. I really hope everyone is okay.

I found a baby...

I have been here many times, I consider this my favorite park, and I live 15 hours away at the base of mount rainier. I was getting all sentimental earlier thinking about how many times I have been here and how I still have firsts (three times ago I saw my first tarantula!) and how magical it still feels to drive through that tunnel and see the view. I love watching people have their first visit here and listening to them talk to each other "how breathtaking!" "How magical!" "Wow!!" Well, today I had another first. My kiddo and I bailed on the watchman trail after starting it too early for sunset and it being too hot. We got back to the visitor center and there were only a few people outside... and a baby 1-2 years old wandering by himself. I asked the few people around if he was their baby, nope! So I took him to the visitor center and about 10 minutes later his panicked grandma was in the parking lot. I pointed her in the right direction and the baby's mother got out of the car running to the visitor center. Grandma hugged me and thanked me half a dozen times. I am so glad this had a happy ending. It also taught my 8 year old an important lesson about sticking close when I tell him to. He was pretty anxious, I think it really clicked for him how many different ways this situation could have turned out.

My mind is blown.

I have had sleep issues for many years, I have motion sickness, pmdd type symptoms. Recently discovered extreme altitude sickness type stuff.

I knew it was all similar somehow it feels the same.

Just got diagnosed with hyper pots so I started googling and yup. It's literally all hyper pots. 🤯

Hyperdynamic and septal left ventricular hypertrophy something to worry about?

  1. The visually estimated ejection fraction is >70%, which is hyperdynamic.

  2. Mild septal left ventricular hypertrophy.

  3. No prior studies are available for comparison.

I've never had high blood pressue, its actually kind of low 106/70

I have tachycardia.

Smoke?

Tiktok is freaking me out. Is it super smokey out there right now? Googled the air quality and it says "fair" another says "good" how bad is it? What exactly does fair mean? Is there a specific site that I can be checking?

Thank you.

Garmin inreach mini2

Has anyone ever hit the SOS? My understanding from research is they reply with a text. What if you don't respond to that text? Say I am over a cliff and my 6 year old hit the SOS button?

Spare tire?

Okay, what are we doing about this no spare tire? I just got back from a 2000 mile road trip, just got new tires last week and today I hit something on the freeway. Thankfully not in nowhereville montana.

Made it through the gate at exactly 8:50am!

I was in denver for a concert and decided to get up and drive to the park just to see it! I spent about 4 hours there and obviously could have spent MUCH longer. I just felt so lucky to be there at all. There were even elk at the alpine visitor center. I am a sea creature and the altitude was rough! Also I was running on 5 hours of sleep and that wasn't doing me any favors. I hope to bring my kiddo here next year and see some moose!

3rd visit, first visit with my kid tips and tricks

Hello, we will be there in mid September. Some things that he has expressed interest in are hikes, kayaking lake mcdonald, and stargazing.

Will it be too cold for kayaking? Any kid friendly favorite hikes? I don't love just Google searching "kid things to do" I am sure people have some great recommendations.

Best place to stargaze?

edit my son is 8.

4th time in Bryce questions

We have one day in bryce next week, my kiddo wants to see the stars, he is hoping he will actually stay awake this time lol. How are they from north campground? I've never stayed here. I don't see well at night to drive so I am trying not to go too far from camp. Is it better to sleep early and set an alarm for the middle of the night? Anything at all in bryce that we may have missed?

I don't see well and avoid driving in the dark so if not, where can we walk to? No tarantulas in june right? My son is scared to walk around at night because we have seen them (in August) anything cool we may have missed?

New season ticket holder!! So excited!!!

I went to 6 games last season. My son (he is 8) said we should just live at climate pledge so we can go to every game. I am so excited to tell him I got season tickets. I explained to him when we went to the first game (the home opener) why the league and the team is so special. He promised he would cheer the loudest and he has every game. 🥹🥹

Psychiatrist says I don't have pots

My primary care doctor is really sticking up for me but my psychiatrist says I do not have pots and that it's because I am decreasing nicotine and I should go in for a echo. He told all of this to my primary care doctor who says its really up to me if I want to pay for an echo but I absolutely have pots. What would you do?

Please help me. Child is now vegetarian.

My child is 8. He has struggled with food his entire life, scared of foods, gagging with certain textures. He has decided he is vegetarian, he never really ate much meat anyway. He will not eat most vegetables, he will eat eggs and he will eat cheese but for protein those and whey protein is all he is eating. I am very stressed. He has been open(ish) to trying new things but he has found nothing protein wise he likes other than the above mentioned. I am hoping this no meat thing is a phase, which then only gives us round steak (hamburgers) as another option but it's something. What are things I can try for protein?
