Unhinged, I know 😂

The ring has been ordered, but I haven’t seen it complete yet, and it’s driving me crazy. I made a last minute switch from yellow gold to platinum for several reasons. They had a setting that checked all my boxes at a price that was too good to pass up. Plus as you can see I wear silver rings daily, so it really just made more sense.

I was so focused of processing this switch of metals, I feel like I blacked out when he brought out the diamonds! The center will be .79 ct and the sides around .37 I believe. I’ve seen the details (cut, clarity, etc.) and they’re high quality (lab). What is missing in my mind is the ratio. Soooo I put this together to try to get a feel for it lol

Also attached are a ring I tried at a pawn shop (center .47, sides are .21 each), and one I found online that is close to my ct sizes. Feel free to drop your trilogy if you think it’ll help me visualize mine (total mine will be around 1.5 ct), otherwise this is just something I thought people would get a kick out of.

Microneedling or LaseMD? What about both?

Hi all! After a few sessions of what now feels like wasted money on microchanneling, I am set on something stronger. Has anyone with similar texture done microneedling or LaseMD, and how do you feel about the results?

I am also considering both? Like alternating between them. This is because I want significant results but don’t always have the down time for laseMD. Has anyone done this?

The pics were not taken in natural lighting, it looks better than it is. The image doesn’t show large pores and smaller scars. Thanks!

How tall is your three stone ring? Pics please and please note ct weight and ring size!

I am really trying to make a decision this weekend when we go shopping. I know it will drive me absolutely crazy if my ring catches when I run my fingers through my hair. I am leaning towards a three stone which seem to be generally lower set(?). If you have one now is you time to show off. please drop some pics of the side profile on your hand! Thank you!

I’ve narrowed it down to these three styles, but am worried about prongs snagging. What should I know about each style? See post text!

None are my fingers, but I’ve tried on and like a three stone and pear with prongs. For durability I’d prefer a bezel but unfortunately I only like these shapes/styles with prongs. I’m worried about prongs snagging on clothes, towels, hair, etc. I love the bottom one but haven’t tried it on yet as the stores I’ve been to don’t stock old mine cuts. Just looking for general advice on setting styles. This process is very overwhelming!

He suggested we go ring shopping! I play with my hair a lotttt and despise getting things caught in it/pulling. What features to avoid?

Pretty much what the title says. Are there any features of your ring that ended up being tiresome and you changed? Help me avoid these the first time around!

Is this worth brining up to my landlord?

This aspen has not begun to leaf for the season and I am worried about its health. It has these large cracks that are seeping fluid and have this weird orange film. (Google says cytospora canker?)

I am wondering how detrimental this is and if my landlord should know. Thanks.
