Would be super grateful for a second opinion on this (OCR Gothic unseen essay)

I think my teacher's marking was a bit harsh, and her comment just doesn't make sense to me because I was evaluating AO2 throughout - sure, there were inevitably a couple of AO2 points I missed, but from having read exemplars I just really thought this was better than a 26/30 essay - any feedback would be so so helpful, I just don't understand hers!!

Moral scrupulosity convincing me I'm deliberately cruel

It's so hard - whenever I know someone's insecurities, they're constantly in my head when I'm talking to them, and sometimes I say things which may be linked to these insecurities and then my OCD goes like 'you were being deliberately cruel for no reason because you're an awful person!!' and genuinely I feel terrible and wonder if i WAS being cruel, because I was aware of the insecurities whilst speaking. Sometimes these 'links' that I come up with between what I say and their insecurity are super tenuous, and I worry that I'm just being subtly cruel and manipulative to everyone without them noticing because I'm not directly causing them distress, I just might be implicitly doing so. Anyone know any strategies which help overcome this?

Does 'quotations' include quotes from critics?

(This is from the OCR spec)

Also, does the second paragraph literally mean I could write however much I want? I know obviously if I wrote like 5000 words I'd probably be penalised for my argument being convoluted or whatever, but if I went like 500 words over? And it was all coherent and added value to my argument?

Tips for playing open hole flute?

Hello fellow flautists! I've just taken the plugs out of my flute so it's now open hole and have played it like this for the first time today. My hand was aching a bit afterwards (but is fine now, 15 minutes later) which I would assume is a normal part of the process of readjusting hand position - but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on getting used to playing open hole/getting back up to the standard I could play closed hole quickly? Thank you :)

Thank you guys :)

I just wanted to thank everyone here because this is genuinely the most kind and supportive Reddit community I've been in. We're all struggling in one way or another, but it's so encouraging to see people supporting each other. I wish you all the best, thank you :)

Moral scrupulosity is so exhausting

I feel like as one of the less common subtypes of OCD it isn't talked about as much and I was just wondering if anyone out there can relate...

Every single time I interact with someone and they react somewhat negatively/get upset over something, I convince myself that was my intention. I convince myself that I'm emotionally manipulative and deliberately try to hurt people, that I don't deserve their kindness. It's so difficult, in fact pretty much impossible, to figure out whether these thoughts are OCD or whether I really am just an awful person.

It gets worse when I care about someone, because then the stakes are higher - I know their insecurities and the fact that they're emotionally attached to me makes all of this feel 10x worse, and in a way I wish I could just avoid connections like that because they trigger my OCD so much. Which makes me really sad, because these connections bring me so much joy when OCD isn't involved. Idk what I'm hoping for with this post, just wanted to get it off my chest, thank you for reading :)

Is it normal for performance exams to be marked this quickly?! And how long do we think the results will take to be released?

For context, I submitted the recording this morning!!

Does this exist?

Hiya, basically I was wondering if anyone knows of people/services/websites online who can mark practice essays that I've done (I'd be willing to pay, as long as it isn't extortionate)? I don't particularly want to hire a tutor (too expensive), I just need a way to get feedback on my essays so I can improve between mocks. My English teacher has said she doesn't mark extra essays due to workload, so I'm looking for alternative resources which aren't AI (I don't personally trust its judgement). Thanks!!
