Any Virgo Lagnas here? What have your mercury periods bee like?

I'm curious how your mercury periods have gone.

So far I've gone through

Venus Mercury - Amazing money making period for me

Sun Mercury - A fairly positive money making period (not as good as venus)

Moon Mercury - Also fairly positive money collecting period (not as good as venus)

Mars Mercury is coming up for me soon and even though they're enemies I'm hoping to make some good money hopefully.

Unfortunately I'll never experience a full Mercury Mahadasha.

Anyone have experiences of their mercury periods they'd like to share.

How are the Japanese feeling about AI in general?

I'd imagine they're probably less pessimistic about it? because they have a severe replacement rate problem anyway and have become a leader in robotics in order to design robots that will help compensate for the future lost human labor.

So are all of us with affected/ herniated discs just f*** when we get older?

I did my damage when I was 33 and it took months before I could sit again. That onhealed. and now another one when I'm 46. Obviously this one's going to take longer to heal than the last one.

But the little pop I felt while sitting at 33, even though I eventually went back to normal 0 pain, was never 100% healed. There would occasionally through the years be very minor flare ups. When I get much older I imagine these old injuries will be very painful. Same with this newer damage.

I mean sure- we can do excercises and things to last longer, but since the fluid sack never fully heals it seems eventually it all catches up with you.

Are we doomed to this pain when we become elderly? Is there nothing that can really be done?

Pain in the right butt and groin - Any pointers before able to get a scan?

Pain in the right side about 2" down from my butt crack. Also another pain 3" to the right of that in the butt. Too much sitting in an bad desk setup.

Subtle pain in the right groin. Shooting pain down inner leg and also back of leg and parts of bottoms of right foot.

Can't sit at ALL. And am worried I won't be able to work. Desk job.

I'm trying to get a referral for a scan which will tell me more- have medicaid so it's less straight forward. Could be weeks.

Just interested in any pointers and/or thoughts others might be able to share since it'll probably be a while before I can get this looked at via scan and don't want to make anything worse until then.

I'm terrified about the pop I felt and symptoms that came after. Will Medicaid allow an MRI?

46F. I was laid off months ago and since the job market has been rough, I decided to take a course to help me upskill.

Unfortunately the amount of study this course necessitates was a lot more than I anticipated and I don't have the most ergonomic setup at home. At work my station was much better for healthy posture, but being laid off I was using my home setup. As I'm strapped for cash I didn't feel I could update my setup with a better chair, desk, platform and I have very limited space at home.

So I just decided to tough it out and study through the discomfort. After all, sitting in this awful setup is only 'temporary anyway' I thought. Soon I'll finish the course, get myself certified and finally be able to find work again. Then I'll be able to pay for a better desk/chair.

So I sat there and I studied. And then I felt it happen. The pop.

Ever since then I've been unable to sit for more than 5 minutes. Even walking is uncomfortable as I feel a strange shooting pain down my inner thigh groin and foot. The pain is not excruciating,, but it's enough.

I am utterly terrified now. I only have Medicaid, I've been unable to find work since the layoff and my savings have dwindled to less than half through the months of unemployment... and as if that wasn't bad enough, I felt this pop a few days ago and Friday I had to turn down a job (though it was only a very part-time role) because I can not sit and have pain shooting down my leg. And I can't even sit to study for the certification either. What if this means I can't work again within the next few months... or ever?? I don't have any siblings so if I can't take care of myself, there's literally noone.

Monday first thing I'm going to set up an appointment with primary physician, but obviously only an MRI is going say whatever happened there. Will they pay for it or reject it?

I just want something part time

Where can I find part-time work?

I'm limited by the fact I don't have my own transport. Everything I see is full-time only.

Preferably in their 40's! I'm looking for folks I can check in with regularly regarding fitness and other tasks.

I guess technically they can be anywhere, but I find accountability seems to work better if everyone's at least in the same timezone.

45F seeking employment search buddy.

looking for body doubling partner to work with. Preferably 30-45 minutes several days a week together while we search for jobs. I'm EST but you can be anywhere. I'm available to do this most days between 10am 9pm EST depending on the day.

I need to apply to jobs and could use someone to stay accountable with. Maybe a few of us can meet up via zoom or google meet for 45 min a couple of days a week so we can apply to jobs while on screen and be accountability buddies? What do you think?

I'm EST but am pretty flexible with timing.

I would love to be able to tailor my own workout in advance of each visit. Do they keep a list of all their machines on the floor of the location at the desk and if so could I get a copy?

▲ 1 r/Hernia

Had emergency surgery a few years ago for a strangulated umbilical hernia. The hole was on the left of my belly button. Surgery happened and my belly button never had it's shape ever again. Oh well- I guess that's better than death.

What sucks is that ever since then I've had this weird bulge over right on top my belly button. As if things inside shifted up or something.
