Darth vitiated vs the god emperor of man kind

I don't know much about either character, except for the fact that both of their Fandoms make them out to be so much more insanely powerful than for example current star wars figures like darth sidious, so I'm kinda just hoping to create a war between kotor glazers and 40k glazers.

Is the crucible comparable to the halo array?

If the flood from halo invaded the milky way galaxy of mass effect during the late stages of the reaper war, would it be possible to use the crucible joined with the citadel/catalyst and the relay network to pruge the galaxy of complex life, or maybe even purge it of the flood specifically?

What are the most underrated star wars projects?

What are in your opinion some star wars projects that were severely underrated? I'll start. Star wars the bad batch is dam near a master pice, and not brought up often enough in the conversation about the best star wars projects. And skeleton crew was just a very fun stand alone story. Once you've made it through the first few episodes it becomes really entertaining

Could delta squad defeat a single Ultramarine

The situation is that they know where the marine will be coming from. There's some cover for them to set up behind. They set up explosive proximity mines. There is a balcony that sev can snipe from. They all have the same equipment you have at the beginning of each mission in the game. A pistol, an assault rifle, a sniper and a grenade launcher along with grenades of different kinds.

Can't wait for 40k fans to tell me why the Ultramarine speed blitzes them and solos the verse

Would a brain worm infested clone still execute order 66?

Tbh, I know the obvious answer is no, but I still like to think about it some times.

I'll make a scenario real quick: a geonosian queen managed to infest some clones during the war and managed to survive till well into the Imperial era, however, at some point, her and her infested clones have to work together with some jedi to fend of an Imperial attack. One of Imperial officers however gets an idea, and plays a recording of Palpatine issuing order 66. Does anything happen? We know the brain worms keep the brain intact since barris managed to survive being infested, so technically the inhibitor chip should still be in there

What if V actually slowly transitioned into Johnny?

At multiple points in the game its said that V would slowly shift into Johnny and start behaving differently. But I think largely because the player can make their own dialogue choices this doesn't really become evident during the game. But imagine if your dialogue choices changed based on how far you are through the main quest line. So if you did every available side quest before continuing on with the story, you'd get the completely normal dialogue options during the side quests. But if you just immediately did the main story up until 'meet hanako at embers', you'd get completely different dialogue options during side quests, like never being able to in any way side with or defend a corporation during a conversation. Or just being a complete dick to most characters, maybe even barring some romance options (especially river bc Johnny definitely would not fuck a cop if he had a choice)

Can anyone recommend a game with the vibes of halo 3 odst and helldivers 2?

I'm looking for an atmospheric sci fi military game (not a strategy game). Preferably single player like halo 3 odst or at least PvE

Naturally evolved dragons

So I was wondering how dragons might actually naturally evolve (as I'm sure has been done many times before on this subreddit, but this is my take)

First, here are my criteria for what counts as a dragon or dragon like creature to me:

A, it must be relatively large (at least quetzalcoatlus sized)

B, it must be able to perform powered flight.

C, it must be able to in some form produce fire.

Now, I will be putting this dragon in a purely fictional eco system separate from our world. This eco system would preferably be relatively large and open, with a dense atmosphere to make flight easier for large creatures. There would also be large herbivores, think the terrestrial equivalent of whales, medium to large predators, tho not necessarily large enough to actively hunt these large herbivores, and finally smaller scavengers traveling in herdes.

As for our dragon, it would be a large scavenger, using its flight capabilities to easily spot large carcases. It would be able to take off from the ground, however this wouldn't be a quick and elegant process, so its large size helps it protect itself from medium to maybe large predators. Now, this dragon would digest only a part of the carcases it eats, with the rest being left to decay inside of it. The gases produced by this decay would be saved in a specialized organ, while the rest of the decayed matter would be expelled. Now if such a dragon faced a very large predator, or a large group of smaller rival scavengers trying to steal its food, it could release the built up gas through its mouth and ignite it with bio-electricity produced by its very long and agile tongue. Now, obviously it would take a long time for the dragon to build up enough gas to sustain a flame for even just a few seconds. But just the possibility of it would likely deterr most threats.

How realistic do you guys think my take on a dragon is?

Comparing the RDA to arasaka

Here's a fun cross universe comparison: who's the worse corporation between arasaka from mike pondsmith's cyberpunk and the resources development administration (RDA) from james Cameron's avatar? Which corporation do you think is the most morally corrupt and which would you rather work for?

Followup question, what do you think would happen if we replaced the alpha centauri system and pandora in the avatar universe with the solar system that cyberpunk takes place in. How would the two capitalist dystopias interact? Would the RDA overrun the cyberpunk world, or would it be the other way around?

What are viltrumite weapons made out of?

Weapons like thula's hair blade or conquest's arm have been shown to have durability retentive to viltrumites, so what kinda metal are they made from and why doesn't Cecil or the coalition use it for anti viltrumite weapons/armor?

My personal theory is that these weapons are partially made from the iron in viltrumite blood cells, bc how awesome would that be??

Could smasher beat cerberus?

Do yall think Adam smasher stands any chance at actually defeating the cerberus bot in a full on brawl? Now, mind you I'm not saying that it'd be an even fight. I'd imagine the cerberus bot would be to smasher what smasher was to V. An enemy you gotta maneuver around and dodge as good as you can. So do yall think smasher is packing enough firepower to damage cerberus?

'You're a good woman V'

Doing the quest with lina malina right now, and there are these scavs in front of her house that later turn out just to have been actors... I shot em before finding out of course. But that's not all... I mighta gon a little overboard, because I shot em all with the erebus smg, prolly the most painful way to go in the game. Tho there was one of them that actually got to die normally, getting shot by one of his fellow scavs who I used the cyberpsychosis quick hack on... but, it was just a friendly misunderstanding

Give us more large scale conflicts!

Hot take! I am tired of seeing small rebellions going up against a large government! Give me two major factions like during the clone wars or the old republic era! I want to see not two factions go up against each other, but two civilizations! Each with its unique culture, history, political systems and way of life! Show me different faction's capital planets! Show me the political institutions of both sides!

But most importantly, give me some large style capital ship battles! Obviously I love the imperial era as much as anyone. It has so many great stories told within it! But for the love of Lucas I need more giant space battles! But no! We get more starfighters going up against one or two capital ships at most.

It's a fine way to measure someone's potential in the force to me and in general I prefer my universes to have clear rules (looking at you sabine from the ahsoka show)

I absolutely love seeing the capital planets of sci fi factions! Just seeing a place of such significance with grand monuments to a thousand years of history and the wellspring of an entire culture.

That's one thing I love so much about the old republic games: we got to play as both factions so we got to see both capital planets in detail! I especially love dromund kaas! It's not a whole city planet but it still has this sick and twisted turn on the coruscant aesthetic.

I also wish we got to see more of raxus secundos (the separatist capital planet) in the clone wars, tho I guess the fact that we didn't is supposed to convey how little the cis actually cared about its civilian people and their political ideals. Obviously there is coruscant, which I love, but it gets kind of old since it's the only capital planet we really get to see for any faction in most of star wars.

But I've been talking too much about star wars. There are obviously more examples of this! Like the citadel from mass effect! The ethereal vibe and that almost whimsical music always hit so different in mass effect one, and the battle against the geth and sovereign there just makes this place feel so significant. Tho I must admit that I prefer actual capital planets over space stations like the citadel or high charity.

My final example is planet viltrum. At the beginning it was just this generic utopian looking planet, but everything we got in season 4 of invincible made it one of my favorites. The entire vibe during the thragg flashback before the purge was so ominous. The funeral of emperor argal was absolutely chilling. And then off course those despicable vibes when we see it in the present day are absolutely amazing! The stormy clouds covering the planet... the thunder in the background... the orange trees by the palace? Chef's kiss for vibes. And honestly this one gets bonus points for its actual destruction. My god that scene gave me goosebumps. Especially seeing the continental plates like splitting apart and giving way to a lava ocean. Peak cinema.

I think the reason why maul's power scaling feels so inconsistent is part of his character itself. characters like sidious and Vader are always consumed by rage and FAR from metally healthy. but still they are largely focused. meanwhile maul is just extremely unstable. yes he can be cunning, but when he gets enraged he doesn't channel it into calculated power like the previously mentioned sith lords, instead his response is much more animalistic. every time maul looses his temper his mind is broken further and reassembled slightly different
