Bloody Mackenzie: any experiences?

I was wondering whether any of you have had or have heard of experiences with George Mackenzie and the black mausoleum? I’m unsure whether or not to believe the legends but I’m aware of his work as a prominent legal figure, whether or not that work is evil is another thing.

Looking to buy a new wireless controller: any recommendations?

The controller that came with my series x has worsening stick drift. Im unsure whether to buy a new regular wireless controller, elite, or a third party wireless one. Are there any good third party ones?

Potential fix for error codes 0x8B050033, 0x00000000, and 0x00000201.

I had this issue, but I fixed it. Before I fixed it I reached out to XBOX support and they escalated it to a specialist team. They gave me these methods to fix the issue, hope this helps any of you struggling with the same issue:

What’s REALLY happening (deeper cause)
Your console likely has one of these:

1. Update partition mismatch
Console firmware slots (A/B system partitions) are desynced

It keeps booting into a bad update slot

2. Insider flag stuck at system level
Even after unenrolling, the console internally still identifies aspreview build required

3. Corrupt OS userdata/cache layer
Survives factory reset (because reset doesn’t fully wipe system partitions)

 ADVANCED FIXES (beyond normal guides)
1. Force full partition wipe (hidden behavior)
You need to force the console to rebuild system partitions from scratch, not just reset.
Do this EXACTLY:
Boot into troubleshooter (Pair + Eject + Power)

Select: ✅ Reset this Xbox

Choose: ✅ Remove everything

👉 BUT AFTER SELECTING:
When it shuts down → UNPLUG immediately

Wait 3–5 minutes

Then plug back in and start

Why this works:
This interrupts the reuse of cached update partitions and forces a clean rebuild path instead of reusing corrupted data

 2. “Offline update version mismatch” fix (CRITICAL for Insider consoles)
Normal OSU1 often fails silently if your console was on a higher Insider build than public OSU.
You must:
👉 Try updating multiple times in a row (not just once)
Sequence:
Run OSU1

If it fails → reboot

Run OSU1 again
✅ Repeat 3–5 times

Why:
The system sometimes needs to:
downgrade firmware components step-by-step

sync bootloader + OS versions

 3. Network-block method (forces fallback firmware behavior)
This is a very deep workaround:
Steps:
Start setup

When it asks for internet: ❌ Don’t connect

Complete setup offline

Once on dashboard:
Go to Settings → Network → Go Online

If it forces update again:
👉 Block Xbox update servers temporarily:
On your router:
Block:

*.xboxlive.com
xboxlive.com
update.xboxlive.com
Then:
Reboot console

Wait on dashboard 5–10 min

Remove block after and try again.
Why:
Prevents the console from redownloading the same broken Insider build
 4. Manual “error loop break” trick (works surprisingly often)
When the error appears:
Hold power for 10 seconds (force shutdown)

Turn on again

As soon as Xbox logo appears: 👉 hold Eject + Pair

This sometimes forces it to:
switch boot partitions

or enter a fallback recovery path

5. Try different OSU file timing (important edge case)
If you downloaded OSU1 recently, try:
Re-download it again (file may have changed)

Use a different USB drive

Format again (NTFS, default allocation size)

Also: 👉 Don’t extract with Windows built-in sometimes — use 7-Zip or WinRAR
6. Hidden cause: Insider “higher version lock”
If your console was on:
Alpha / Alpha Skip Ahead

Then: 👉 Public OSU1 is lower version than your console expects
Result:
You get exactly your error codes

Only fixes:
Wait for public build to catch up ❌

OR: ✅ Microsoft service repair (they reflash NAND directly)

7. LAST RESORT (Hardware-level reality)
If nothing above works:
You’re likely dealing with:
Corrupt internal SSD partition map

Firmware boot error stuck in flash storage

👉 This is NOT fixable via software anymore.

I feel alone

I have a few good friends, I’m happy with that, that’s all I need. But with women, I’ve been hurt in the past, I make a connection but I can’t bring myself to allow myself to let it go anywhere, I can’t allow myself to feel hurt again. But it goes nowhere, they leave, and I get hurt anyway. I feel like I’m stuck in a viscous cycle. I feel a void in me that I feel that a woman must fill, but with every lost connection it gets deeper. Then there’s also the regret of losing such a gem of a person, and the acknowledgment that it’s my fault.

Very specific problem, anyone know how to fix?

I tried to install an update with Xbox Insiders preview. However, the attached image is a message that pops up. I tried restarting, resetting, troubleshoot menu resetting, but nothing worked. This message only comes up when I try to connect to my home WiFi network, for some reason, when I connect to my phone’s hotspot, it does not. I have reset router etc but nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated, my console is not usable right now.

Insider update keeps failing. Can’t use console.

Error message 0x8B050033 I searched and it said it’s a problem on Microsoft’s side. I tried restarting and resetting my console nothing worked. I can’t un-enroll to fix as I don’t have a windows PC and my console lets me do nothing.

Xbox Series X disk drive sounds like it’s trying to work but isn’t

My disk drive sounds like a revving car it’ll try to read repeatedly then eventually give up. Anyone had this and fixed it?
