Just wanted to share my first harvest results since I love seeing everyone else's first harvest here 🙂 thanks all for the help to get here! JMF, coir and verm, StB 7/8, and patience. Did you save the pictures from your first harvest too?

Big guys seem like they'll break their veils any minute but little guys look they could use some time. Already harvested two big guys to try the potency today but I'd rather harvest in one go. JMF. I know everyone has their own preference. When do you typically like to harvest?

Uncle Ben's, ABV, StB 7/2 in just vermiculite bc I didn't have coir yet, wet jar with petri lid on top, good looking pin set for a full jar? Have yet to get a full trip in one harvest but I think this'll be it!

I've gotten two mushrooms off of an agar plate and I'm already deeply in love with feeding this mycelium. This community has really inspired me. Thanks, y'all!

This is my first time growing and these are my first fruits ever!

While I did spawn to bulk, I also prepped a couple bonsai grows thanks to the inspiration of this community. This one fruited after only 8 days of fruiting conditions! I'm so excited. People have been posting that they have too much after figuring it out and I hope to have that problem soon, too 🙂

Found in central Connecticut, USA, growing out of the dirt in the forest

Messing around with JMF LC on agar with a few rice grains added to each plate. Decided to put this one into fruiting conditions just for fun. What am I witnessing here? Are these pins? Am I going to get tiny little mushrooms? Has anyone here ever tried fruiting them directly on agar? Gonna add a tiny casing layer to the next one to see what happens 👀
