OMG THANK Y’ALL SO MUCH

I was so tired of trying to find something similar to St. Tropaz that didn’t leave this pale/neutral girl orange or brassy looking. I didn’t realize until I found this sub that there are different undertones 😩 and I just want to say THANK YOU to anyone who talked about Bondi Sands Technical Emerald. This looks so freaking natural on me, I love that it’s not super dark but buildable, and there’s no gross smell. I’m about to buy 10 of these bad Larry’s.

How long are the classes?

I can’t remember where I saw this, but someone had mentioned they were a 1L and had a 3.5 hour synchronous class. Is this typical? Are all or most of the classes this long?

We don’t really know what we’re doing, but I pulled the same card 3 times in one day.

Friend is exploring tarot so we decided to give it a go together. The first picture is my first pull, second is second pull, and the third (not pictured) was Honoring the Dead (again… for the third time). What do you guys think it could mean?

I think the overall message from these pulls is to remember what shaped me because I’m entering a new chapter and will need to be prepared.

Matching PJ shorts for me and my long-distance bestie

Seeing my best friend after almost two long years! We have a joke about gifting each other ugly fish things so I decided we needed some sardine PJ shorts! Super fun and easy! Great if you got a smaller waste and larger hips too!

I need your reading efficiency tips, pleassseeee

I did my first practice test after 3.5 weeks of studying and scored a 156. I’m pretty pleased with it, honestly. Timing is just killing me. I can see exactly where I started rushing in both RC and LR because I spent too much time reading, then re-reading the passages. I finished all of the questions, but with only seconds to spare. I wish I had at least 2 spare minutes to review my answers before time is out.

What can I do for free (omg please let me save some for actual law school 😭) to improve my reading pace?

Also, taking the test in September. What do you think the feasibility is to get a 170? I’m studying about 1-2hrs/day, 6 days a week. Not gonna hold my breath on this, just curious what y’all think.

Was told to post here! Am I in the right place? Looking for advice.

Hello! This is my hair air dried after a wash/condition. No other products.

My typical routine:
- Wash/condition every two days. Shampoo and conditioner are JOICO HYDRA SPLASH.
- Tressame heat protectant
- Blow dry with brush (no diffuser)
- straight iron

I’d love for my hair to look healthier and to emphasize my wavy (or curly?) texture if possible.

My hair is unmanageable at this length and would appreciate recommendations on a cut style. I’d prefer not to go shorter than collar bone length. Additionally, please let me know of any products for fine hair!

I’m so tired of straightening it all the time.

Thank you all!

I am so proud of this chalk bag I made!

This bag took 3 attempts. It’s not perfect but I’m damn proud of it! My husband is an avid rock climber so I wanted to make him something he would be able to use doing something he loves. I’m giving it to him on his birthday soon and I honestly don’t know if I can wait that long haha.

PATTERN:
Beyond Better Basic Chalk Bag by Kenneth Schackart

https://github.com/schackartk/sewing\_patterns/blob/main/chalk\_bag.pdf

NOTES:
I found this pattern for free somewhere on Reddit last year. I want to say it was either here or on the climbing subreddit. It’s easy to follow, however, in the beginning when making the outer shell, it says to sew wrong sides together when you need to sew right sides together. There are also no instructions for the belt portion but that’s easy to YT.

My little Janome QDC 5300 handled this bag like a champ.

Where to put undergrad research fellowship on resume with 13 years of professional experience ?

Did things a little backwards! I have 13 years of solid professional experience in and alongside the government in a technical field, but recently left my career to be a new stay at home parent and finally get my degree.
I was accepted into a competitive undergrad research program that is relevant to both my past experience in tech and my future goals in policy. It is paid and I plan to pursue it until I graduate next year.
Since I am currently unemployed, should I put it at the top of my work experience or should I put it under education?

Edit: I’m in the US.
