Don Nelson Saw Greatness: The Coach Who Believed in Steph Curry Before the World Did

Before Stephen Curry became the greatest shooter ever, he was just a skinny kid with a ridiculous jump shot and a dream.

Don Nelson believed in him when others questioned whether his size and frame could translate to the NBA. That belief helped Curry with the opportunity to prove exactly what he was capable of.

Fast-forward years later… 4 championships, 2 MVPs, a Finals MVP, and the greatest 3-point shooter basketball has ever seen. 🐐🔥

What’s the team’s big board?

I wonder, if the Thunder had the 1st pick in this draft, who they would have drafted? I would like to think it would be Caleb Wilson, but it’s something we might never know.
But it made me wonder, who is it, that each team has on their big board #1? And how different does it vary from team to team?

Are there thunder fans who say no?

If we traded ihart for Keegan Murray. After Dec 15th, this trade could commence. Thunder could sign a player for about 1m, put that player in the trade to make the $ work. Would thunder fans be encouraged if ihart was traded for Murray?

Best Duo Ever At Making Bad Shots Consistently

These two took and made so many difficult shots, they were always asked to go 1v2, 1v3, and they delivered more frequently than anyone else.
They covered up personnel mistakes, coaching errors, lineup shortcomings, and they made it so frequently, we, the fans came to expect it, and were surprised when they didn’t deliver.

🧢 off to these two. Plus Serge. What an incredibly athletic, talented group of players. They won’t get the credit historically because of no championship, but for those who were fortunate enough to witness them on a consistent basis, we were never let down on their commitment to leave it all out on the court

Let’s say this is the thunder roster, no changes made:

I’d like to see JWill start at the 4 and have Chet at the 5. If they’re hellbent on ihart starting, which, whatever, then whenever he’s hurt, that’s the player I’d like to see fill in for him. That is unless, Sorber is just ROY like type player. Then let him start at the 4

Kuminga

If Kuminga is considering signing with a team like Minny for < 6m, then the Thunder could hypothetically be in the mix for him. I’d ask, why shouldn’t they be? I’d say a 4-5 combo of him and Chet would be incredibly athletic, and, far as rebounding or defense, I think they’d be just fine. Thunder really just needs a player to be on the top 8-9 players level, and I think Kuminga could be that. A little small for the 4, but let’s not kid ourselves, dub is smaller and coach rolls him out at the 4 every chance he gets.

Who's using their rookies the most? Ranking NFL teams by snaps played --vs how the teams were graded for the draft

https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-rookie-report-cards-grading-and-ranking-every-team-s-2025-draft-class

Some interesting correlation for teams like the browns. Other teams who didn’t have such highly touted draft classes still had a whole lot of contributions from rookies. Whether injuries and/or players exceeding their expectations, this cross-match is interesting

From the nba community on Reddit: [Charles Barkley] “The number one knock on LeBron for older guys like me has always been “Yo, man, you always stacking your team”

My question is, when did the stacking for modern teams start? I think the ‘08 Celtics were stacked, but they also were towards the end of their careers. Lebron is the first one I can remember, who teamed up with other stars, in their primes. But what about the 3-peat Shaq and Kobe Lakers? I don’t think they were stacked like LeBron was with the same aged stars.

What I would like to see

I want the Thunder to acquire Saddiq Bey-if they can’t, or the asking price is too high, go after Jaime Jacquez Jr.
I wonder what a reasonable price for both of those players are? Considering no players would be given up

Most valuable position picked?

If you’re an NFL franchise, and QB isn’t available, what is the most important or most impactful position, assuming they’re all the same level of effectiveness, just different position-what’s the position you would pick, and why?
