Is a 360-degree camera worth buying in 2026? What are the biggest use cases today?

I'm considering buying a 360-degree camera this year, but I'm not sure if it's worth the investment compared to a traditional action camera.

I know they're used for travel and virtual tours, but I'm curious about real-world applications beyond content creation.

A few questions:

  • What are the biggest industries using 360-degree cameras today?
  • Are they mainly for YouTubers, or are businesses adopting them too?
  • Has AI made these cameras easier to use?
  • What features should someone prioritize before purchasing?
  • Do you think the market for 360-degree cameras will continue growing over the next decade?

I'd love to hear experiences from people who actually use them professionally or as hobbyists.

Is a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Car Actually Worth the Extra Money?

I'm in the market for a used car and can't decide whether it's worth paying extra for a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle.

From what I've seen, CPO cars usually come with a manufacturer-backed inspection, some warranty coverage, and a bit more peace of mind—but they also cost noticeably more than similar cars sold by private owners.

On the other hand, I've come across a few privately owned cars that seem to be in great condition, have a full service history, and are priced much lower.

For those who've been through this:

  • Did you buy a CPO car, and was it worth the premium?
  • Has anyone had a great (or terrible) experience buying from a private seller?
  • If the private car has been well maintained and passes an independent inspection, would you still choose a CPO?
  • Looking back, would you make the same choice again?

I'd really appreciate hearing some real-world experiences before I make a decision. Thanks!

How long do EV batteries actually last, and what affects their lifespan the most?

I'm researching electric vehicle batteries and keep seeing different claims about battery life. Some sources say EV batteries can last 10–15 years, while others mention degradation after a few years.

For EV owners, engineers, or anyone working in the automotive industry:

  • How long has your EV battery lasted so far?
  • What battery degradation have you experienced?
  • Does fast charging significantly reduce battery life?
  • How do extreme temperatures affect EV battery performance?
  • Are newer battery technologies improving longevity?

What cooling technology do you think will dominate next-generation AI data centers?

With AI workloads pushing rack densities much higher than traditional servers, many operators are rethinking their cooling strategies.

Some experts argue that liquid cooling is becoming essential for high-density AI clusters, while others believe advanced air cooling still has plenty of room for improvement.

For those working in data centers, cloud infrastructure, HPC, or AI deployments:

  • Are you seeing a shift toward liquid cooling in real-world projects?
  • What challenges have you faced with implementation and maintenance?
  • Do you think immersion cooling will become mainstream, or remain a niche solution?
  • How are rising energy costs influencing cooling decisions?

Interested in hearing experiences, lessons learned, and predictions from people working directly in the industry.

Are EVs really worth it if you don't have a home charger?

I'm thinking about switching to an electric vehicle, but I live in an apartment and don't have access to home charging.

For those in a similar situation, how has your experience been relying on public charging stations? Has it been convenient enough for daily use, or do you wish you had stuck with a gas-powered car?

How much battery degradation have you experienced in your EV?

If you've owned an EV for several years, how much range have you lost, and has it affected your driving habits?
