I live in the middle east. I am planning to move to US. I am working in the tech industry and I plan to move to a place with the most muslim community, mosques, family friendly and lowest racism as possible (towards muslims and particularly hijabi wife), and obviously with good job opportunities.
I haven't imagined life without Mosques and Islam as a normal thing around me. I understand things are different in US, but I would like a place that helps me to take care of my religion.
Any recommendations ? I heard about NYC and Chicago but not sure. I would like to hear from everyone here.

Not sure if this is the right way to seek help. But please bear with me for a moment.
We are a family living here since good amount of time. I am an AI Engineer and working in the field for a while so I have no idea about anything in the medical field. My brother just graduated from Physiotherapy in Dec 2025 from Sharjah UOS, and he is currently looking for a job. I advised him to look on LinkedIn and indeed as my experience is that these websites are good at least getting interviews at least for my field. He has been actively looking for a while with no results at all.
He is now getting into a depression phase because of that its been now 6 months he is looking and every where they are either no response or looking for locals only.
My question is that for his field or medical field, is there a specific way different (other than linkedIn maybe) he needs to look for to get a job? He is not looking for a specific salary but he wants to start his career and our father has been retired since sometime, so he needs to find a job ASAP.
I understand the situation is difficult in terms of job market specially after the recent war and I understand that many people are in similar situations or even worse. But if anyone could help please let me know if you have an advice or referrals or anything would be much appreciated.
Btw he has his DHA in Dubai and a golden visa.

I have my I-140 submitted already since oct 2024, I have applied on premium processing with Chen and they emailed with Fedex the PP reached by 15th may 2026, now should I expect my case status to change with something related to premium processing (e.g. you case got premium processing or something like that) or I should directly wait for approval/RFE/Denial)??

I was working with Chen and applied my I-140 in Oct 2024, My PD is 10 Oct 2024. So its been now around 18 months (case still being processed). Additionally I am also from Egypt (one of the banned countries or at least temporary pause countries). I was planning to do IVP and I submitted when I has 390s citations and a bachelor degree. Now I have +500 and a master degree. I am not in a hurry so if its taking time its fine. I just want to know the decision so I know if its worth waiting or I need to start checking Canada/Australia immigration process.
Is my timeline normal or I need to do PP ?
