Hasbto Employee 2: “There are sequel characters that have been on wishlists and stuff. Again, like we’ve talked about those. Just because the sentiment around those may be different doesn’t mean we aren’t going to continue doing those.“

This is particularly exciting to me, because I’ve been wanting updated Sequel figures for years now. But I want to set my expectations low. “Sequel fans will be happy next year” means minimum one figure. I hope for more but one is all we have confirmed.

I’d like to talk likelihood of who that might be. I think a fair guess might be the cancelled figures that they already had planned (and probably sculpted). This would be Crait Luke, TROS Flashback Luke, and TROS Flashback Leia. The only one of those that interests me most is Crait Luke since he is the only one truly from the Sequel era.

Alternatively, with the emphasis put on doing fan choices in the rest of the video (I recommend y’all watch for full context), I could see them doing Sidon Ithano of all people. Not a main character at all, but he’s consistently been on lists since TFA released. I’d love reworks of the main characters, but Sidon has the most broad appeal. From that fan list perspective, if they were to do main characters, it’s also possible, though much less likely in my eyes, that they would do figures of the missing main characters from TROS (Finn, Poe, Palpatine).

Curious to hear y’all’s thoughts on what you believe is most likely. I’m just excited to be getting new figures for the first time in years. I hope they will use updated sculpts and articulation to give these figures a fair shot rather than using old bodies with updated Heads like they did with Archive Han a few years ago, and use a lack of sales of a long outdated figure as justification not to do more. Please give it a fair shot, Hasbro. No one wants figures from 10+ years ago. Including Sequel fans. If you cut corners, no one will buy.

I’ve been reading through the SW canon slowly over the last five and a half years so certain information tends to fall through the cracks. I was hoping y’all could help me out. I just started Trials of the Jedi and in the meeting where they are assigning the mission to the Nine, they say that they believe the Blight is a result of the Nameless being separated from their home planet. Had this been stated or this revelation been revealed in a previous story? I can’t recall when this had been established.

The only stories I've ever ever been exposed to that are set in western Asia (or the "Middle East") are those of 20th century Orientalism that is bogged down by a European's view of what is exciting or 'exotic.' I'm looking for a novel that meets the following requirements:

1. set in the "Middle East" sometime prior to the 1800s

2. written within the last 60 years by a native of these regions

3. accurate to the culture and the period in which it is set

I want to read everything from the start in 1992 to WorldStorm and began compiling last week. I couldn’t seem to find anything so I began compiling last week and I now have over 700 entries and it does not seem to be slowing down. I’m getting exasperated and need to take a step back. Is there any chance anyone have an existing list of every WildStorm comic in release order that I could use?

Title. I’ve been reading through the SW canon for years now and this is the biggest hurdle I’ve run into with accessing a comic. Does anyone know where I can read it?

The Jacen & Jaina 2-pack marks the first time that figures have been packaged as part of a subline (here as The New Jedi Order) thats origin is a novel series. We’ve had figures from comics before as part of the Publishing Line and Shadows of the Empire (you could argue these were from novels but it was a multi-media thing), but opening Black Series up to characters from novels gives you 48 years worth of characters to use.

I’ve only read Disney-era books so far so my biggest wants are High Republic characters like Marchion Ro and the infinite number of Jedi (especially with that Dagan Gera buck floating around). Which characters from the nearly five decades of novels would y’all like to see?

I’ve been seeing lots of people complaining about how comics now are shifting to include more casual wear in their superhero costumes (probably started with Miles in Into the Spider-Verse if I had to guess) but it got me thinking about which suit trends defined each decade. The only other I can think of is the 90s with their neck-socks, too many pouches, and lots of guns. Which trends do y’all believe defined each decade?

I’m not generally an anime guy. The only one I’ve watched all the way through was JJBA back in 2019 bc it spoke to my interest timelines and family lineages. But it would be dishonest to say that Araki is perfect when it comes to laying stuff out. It is not uncommon for him to retcon dates and that takes away from some of the fun for it for me. I still thoroughly enjoy JoJo (I was caught up on the manga up until last year), but I’m ready for something new.

I’d like recs for any shows that lean into period pieces, changing time periods, and focusing on family lineages as it continues. I’ve never played Castlevania but I think what I’m looking for is similar to how you have the Belmont protagonists over the centuries. Or if anybody is familiar with For All Mankind, you track the families growth from 1969 to present day. Something like that. Thanks in advance.

I’m in the midst of outlining a story rooted in an alternative history. Within this world, a third country is invaded during the GWOT. Although this country is fictional, its territory roughly equates to the Guangdong, Fujian, and Zhejiang provinces of China. Keeping in mind the geography of these regions (Google images can supply) and the years this war took place (~2002-2009), could someone provide me with images of which uniforms would be used? I imagine combat would predominately take place outside of cities but combat in cities like Hong Kong is possible.

My story does not cover this conflict in detail. As someone with little to no military knowledge, I know I don’t have the capability to do justice to a story with that focus. This is purely world-building for myself and curiosity from my end on what these uniforms would look like.

Writing a story and I want to be true to Earth-616. I read the first few issues of the 2024 X-Factor and remember seeing ClikClok as an in-universe TikTok but I’m seeing other things say they just use the official name but I can’t find a source. If they don’t use the official names, can someone inform me of the equivalent names so I can use them in my story as needed?

Any suggestions for Sequel themed wallpapers, whether official or fanart? I prefer more muted colors that are easier on my eyes but honestly I’m also just curious to see what everybody else has.

Appreciating this safe space of the fandom more and more each day and I want to connect and see how other people are expressing their love for these movies.
