[MacMahon] The Utah Jazz are not expected to reach an agreement on a rookie contract extension with Keyonte George

>Sources also expressed doubt that the Jazz would reach an agreement on a rookie contract extension with guard Keyonte George despite the franchise's optimism that he will play a key role in Utah's future after his breakout third season.

>After struggling his first two seasons in the league, George averaged 23.6 points and 6.1 assists per game while drastically improving his efficiency (.609 true shooting percentage) in 2025-26.

>While the Jazz are open to extension discussions, in order to be comfortable paying George at a number approaching the rookie extension maximum, Utah's front office needs to see him build on his breakout campaign next season.

>As is the case with Kessler, the Jazz don't mind allowing a foundation player to enter restricted free agency if an extension isn't reached.

does this type of toe pain sound familiar to anyone?

for about 8 months know i’ve been experiencing pain in the joint of my big toe and i can’t figure out what’s causing it. it started out in my right big toe joint, at first it felt like my toe just needed to crack so i dismissed it, but then the feeling didn’t go away. the level of discomfort would go up and down, sometimes it was just mild, sometimes i didn’t feel it at all, and other times it was causing me pain when i walked.

this continued for a couple of months and then the stiffness went away completely, but then it started happening in my left big toe instead. right big toe wasn’t giving me any issues anymore, but my left big toe has really been bothering me. i feel the stiffness more consistently in my left big toe than when it was in my right, and recently i’ve started to feel a general stiffness in my right big toe as well but not to the point of constantly needing to crack it to relieve the discomfort.

the best way i can describe it is that it feels like my toe really needs to crack, there’s stiffness but cracking doesn’t relieve the stiffness completely it only lessens the intensity for a bit. now my toe constantly cracks when i move it around even when im not forcing it. the first time i went to my doctor he said maybe the weather was causing my joint pain, second time i went i suggested the possibility of me having bunions but he said it doesn’t look like bunions and also im too young to have bunions (im 20). does anyone know what could be causing my issues?

how long did it take you to stop being insecure about your scars?

my scars are probably my biggest insecurity, i’ve had them for about 4-5 years now (have also been clean for same amount of time) and although some have faded, a lot are still very prominent and noticeable. i wish i wasnt insecure but i just can’t help it, i get seasonal depression in the summer because i feel like i can’t do/wear things that everyone else can and the feeling sucks. like i know i technically CAN do it, but i just can’t bring myself to.

i’ve tried going out in public without covering my scars and i always feel like everyone is staring at me, and they just feel so embarrassing even though i know they aren’t. i see posts from people saying to just embrace your scars and i so badly wish i could feel as confident as they do but i can’t shake the feeling that im damaged goods and it hurts so much. what helped you to feel less insecure about your scars?

can i just look at my phone during the exam?

i’m taking a proctortrack exam soon and my instructor said that we’re allowed to write on paper during the exam. my idea was to hide my phone in my waistband, do the room scan, and then take my phone out and slide it next to my paper so that when i look away it looks like i’m just writing on paper. there’s only one camera on my face and i was going to make sure my laptop is faced upwards too just to be safe. are there any issues in my plan?

BOS-MIL-DET

pistons: losing a bit of their defence but their offence improves greatly, jb gives detroit a true second option and he would play well off of cade

celtics: giannis is an obvious upgrade for the celtics over jb and he improves their ability to contend, provides interior scoring and size for the celtics and would be a good fit because of their shooters

bucks: get back a couple of young players with good potential and a boatload of picks

how to improve a players efficiency?

this is one thing i haven’t really been able to figure out and i’m hoping someone else has the answers. right now for example one of my players has all the attributes to have at least an average efficiency, shooting is all 90+, shot iq 80+, offensive consistency 75+, and yet his shooting splits are 42/32/80. i don’t understand the games logic when it comes to efficiency, what else would he need to improve to be efficient?

Scottie’s reaction to 1st team snub

i know he’ll use this robbery as motivation for next season, can’t wait for year 6 scottie!!

How would you feel about scottie if his offence doesn’t improve next season?

in the playoffs scottie looked like the player we’ve all been hoping he’d become and i felt much stronger in my belief that he’s capable of being a great scorer if he just asserts himself more rather than playing passive.

now some of scottie’s playoff performance was definitely an outlier, like i don’t expect him to shoot 38% from 3, but the main things i expect/want to see from him is again asserting himself into the offence, more driving with aggression, an average/slightly below average 3pt shot, better ball handling, and the ball in his hands more in general.

scottie reaching a new level offensively is important in terms of raising the ceiling of this team and giving us more to build off of, it’s not just a matter of 20+ ppg being a nice number. whether he improves or not he’s still a top 15 player in this league, if it really was just a fluke and next season he’s still the same player he won’t be in the hot seat for me but it’ll definitely be disappointing. thoughts?
