eBay GSP so confused...

So I've been looking at my account today to understand what my current status is on eBay international sales, we do make sales internationally but I ship via Royal Mail Click & Drop, so I don't understand if I am using GSP or not?

It says in my eBay account I am, but then I charge a fixed fee for international shipping and it seems the majority of countries are switched off, which seems weird. Surely, if eBay is managing everything then I should sell to as many countries as possible?

Also I couldn't see this 'ship to eBay hub' thing, so yeah I am just confused... any help?

Pond full of New Zealand Pygmy weed, algae and silt

I acquired this as part of the house I purchased last year, it hadn’t been maintained very well. Last year when summer hit the UK the pond dried up significantly and I lost a lot of fish.

I hired two diggers and did what I could to remove a lot of the weed, dig it deeper, but couldn’t reach the middle due to a restriction on the size of machinery I could get into the pond.

Fast forward 11 months, it’s in a better state, but the weed is growing again, there seemed to be an algae bloom which might have been the result of me using lime chalk to start the process of breaking down the 20+ years of silt sat in the middle of the pond.

I put about £3,000 worth of fish in here including some 12lb carp, I also added 50 small grass carp in February to see if that would help, it’s not.

I bought an aerator as the pond is rainwater fed, so it’s very still and last year during the hot months the fish clearly didn’t have enough oxygen, that’s definitely improved things.

However, I am still in a situation where water levels drop too much, silt is significant and weed is everywhere.

I couldn’t say whether the fish enjoy it or not, they feed, they’re active, they do jump a lot which I am wondering is because of all the silt.

The wildlife clearly love it, as I sit here I have 8 house martins, two kingfishers and a family of fivei coots plus the odd big carp thrashing.

I also know the fish have spawned at least two times this year, because I’ve caught fry about an inch in size and then more about 2cm in size.

I guess my question is what do I do, I can’t throw a whole heap of money at it, I would if I could.

Promoted Listings, to do or not to do?

Honestly, I am so torn between running ads and not running ads, I've ran them and of course they drive sales, but they eat away at our margin, but then they allow me to send leaflets to the customers which hopefully drive sales to the website, and enable me to ship more product which means I can buy material cheaper... should I see it as a means to an end to essentially get more customers for a long term strategy...

I am rambling, but I am really confused, what to do - I've turned most of them off again and of course, organic sales did increase but not nearly as much as the paid listings had driven sales.

What a joke eBay is, search product + brand name, don't even appear...

Our sales have been very slow recently, so I went on eBay on a different PC, different IP, never logged into our account to check, low and behold, we didn't even appear, 12 listings, not a single one of them ours. So, I added our shop name after the product name, still DID NOT appear. How is this even helpful?

What should I do...

Question, does having duplicate live listings cause suppression?

8ft, 10ft or 12ft? Will practicing be the same?

I am considering building an outbuilding for a snooker table, I have the space, but I am a bit conscious on the cost.

Would practicing on a smaller table, for example an 8ft table, translate over to a 12ft table?

And any suggestions on UK companies or prefab buildings I can look to purchase.

eBay sales algorithm, got to be something going on?

OK, so we sell products that we manufacture ourselves, very few competitors as its small margins. Anyway, we have lots of listings (100s) and some of these we rarely make sales, but it seems, whenever one of these listings that don't typically make a sale, gets a sale, we always have a trickle of sales afterwards...

What is going on? The concern I have is, since we are one of very few who sell the items, getting one sale and then two more straight after highlights more demand, but then why does it go back to having zero sales for another month... is eBay just making our listing invisible?

Looking for strategy/open world game (New World, Total War Series, Cities Skyline)

I am stressed, beyond belief at the moment. I need a game to escape into, the last game I did this was New World, and before that it was probably PUBG. I've also done it with Total War (mainly Shogun) but can't seem to do it right now.

Any suggestions?

UK sellers, I use Royal Mail click and drop, can I still benefit from eBay postage savings?

As the title explains, currently paying outrageous prices on Royal Mail. EBay automatically syncs and I just print labels through Royal Mail which is nice, but I am guessing I can do similar through eBay and then get eBay’s cheaper fees?

I realised shopify does this as well, so I am going to do that also.

Can someone explain why business accounts are charged more than one-off customers?

Just negotiating new rates with my account manager, been given 'special rates' which are more expensive than normal royal mail online prices and mine come with a minimum fulfilment of 1,000 orders a year.

I've tried to explain it to Royal Mail, but they seem disinterested in providing better rates to businesses, or to me, anyone else experienced this?

As the title suggests, I am very fortunate to have already amassed £800K in my SIPP. I am a higher rate tax payer, and typically sell a few businesses here and there, so I have two ways of adding to my SIPP through my income so I am not taxed through the arse and secondly from company sales.

Now, as I am young(ish) whilst I understand the tax advantages of adding to my SIPP vs taking as income, when I actually come to take it out at 55 (if that is still a rule by then) and older is still be taxed through the arse.

So what should I do?

Gosh this is confusing.

I am a UK limited company on the FRS, we sell a lot on eBay and in the UK we don’t charge VAT it’s zero rated.

For Europe we don’t charge VAT however eBay does, so do we include European and international sales (America, Canada etc) in our topljne revenue calculation for the FRS scheme or do we just include the UK?

Thank you.
