6.25 Anthony Bourdain Day celebrated at Lost Creek Farm

Yesterday was Bourdain Day, and there was really only one place to be. Lost Creek Farm, the spot he loved about West Virginia. He came here because it was the real thing. No pretense, just a working farm doing honest food in a state the rest of the country gets wrong.

We sat perched on a hillside, drank well, ate well, laughed a lot. And as it got dark, the whole hillside lit up with lightning bugs. The best possible ending to the night.
