How many Risk Dice do NPC average hits calculate with in SRA2.0?

It must be just me missing the answer to the question in the title somehow. Could anyone point me to the relevant section in the CRB, please? Or, in case it's not there (I doubt that, but it might happen), does anyone with a better statistical skill than mine (especially on any given Sunday morning, lol) make an educated guess?

Is rolling Risk Dice even a thing for NPCs? (When the GM decides to roll instead of using the pre-calculated average hits.)

Thanks.

TIL that the iconic multiversal city of Sigil from Dungeons & Dragons was claimed to have been an allegory for how it was like to work at TSR during the 90s. It's ruler, the Lady of Pain, was based on TSR CEO Lorraine Williams, who was infamous for killing the projects of anyone who drew her ire.

"Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0: Hiring Black Book Editions was Catalyst's best decision yet"

u/PinkFohawk reflects on getting SRA2.0.

It's not a review, but still an interesting, short watch.

PS: I've deleted my previous post of this as I thought the video would be a full review, and so I mistitled the post… which was misleading, obviously. As we have more than enough misleading news these days, I'm correcting the mistake here, and reposting this. Sorry. :)

Publisher text rendering gets blurry for a second when editing

Am learning Affinity (3) Publisher. While editing text in Vector View Mode, inserting a character makes the whole text in the document go blurry (maybe pixelated?) for a second (or less, but it's noticeable nonetheless) before becoming sharp again getting rendered. It's kinda frustrating.

I tried changing Renderer (under Settings), and I tried disabling/enabling OpenCL compute acceleration (also under Settings.) Yes, I restarted the app after all changes. None of these helped.

I'm on a Win 11 laptop which has both an Intel UHD Graphics 770 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (Laptop), if that matters.

Anyone any tips?

PS: I don't think this is a bug, I guess it's some setting, so I'm not using the megathread. Hope I'm not mistaken. I've added software/hardware details in case there's a specific setting for these. Let me know if this question should be in the megathread instead, though. Thanks.

Publisher: How to fix text flow (specified on a Master page for two separate boxes)?

Total beginner here, sorry.

I have a master page with two separate text boxes. (Practically two columns, but instead of setting up two columns in one box, I'd like to use two separate boxes.) I set the flow of the text from box 1 (on the left) to box 2 (on the right).

If I apply the master page to a regular page, then paste text into the page, then click the autoflow option (on box 2 on the right), a new page (following the master template) is created, as expected, but the text gets flown into box 2 instead of box 1.

How do I fix this, and what am I missing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Why doesn't this sub have any rules?

I mean, like, I'd welcome at least some ground rules most large(r) subs have, stuff like rules about no IRL politics, no spamming with pointless posts, no AI slop, stuff like that?

Like, check r/Shadowrun or r/alienrpg or r/callofcthulhu or r/savageworlds or r/rpg itself, for that matter.

What do you all think?

Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0 : One Shot | Silver Angel | Actual Play by Unconventional GMs

Stumbled upon this two and a half hours long one shot SRA2.0 actual play on youtube from about three days ago. I thought it looked intriguing, so I decided to drop their link here for those who missed it but like watching such media for entertainment and/or learning purposes.

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with anything/anyone in this video. :)

Question in the title. Asking just for security sake, as for some reason (maybe I'm tired) I can't find a direct specification in the book now… aside from the Character Cost Sheet on page 83. Or is that it? 😅

(So if a PC wanted to move a point from that column to, say, the Skills one, it would cover two skills as long as the skills purchased don't exceed 5?)

Can someone confirm, please?

The files got updated and are available on gameontabletop (and via a mail you got, like in the case of the editable charsheet, for example.) Yes, even the core rulebook has a new version.

Sure, I know every KS backer gets notified about these, but I thought I'd drop a post about the update here, in case you missed it. (It happened to me with other projects, thought I'd help others avoid that. 😃)
