i won the battle bunny mf gacha 🥹
i literally went to the mall for something completely unrelated, then found out pop mart had just announced a new blind box that included battle bunny mf, and it was launching in that same mall on the exact day i was there. as a normal mf main, and completely delusional enough to think the universe planned this for me, i had to try my luck...
AND I GOT HER ON MY FIRST TRY!!!!! 😭🐰
When is the right time to become a digital nomad in Spain, given my situation?
Hi! I've been reading about Spain's Digital Nomad Visa for a while now. Most of what I've found explains how to apply, but I'm more looking for advice on when it actually makes sense to do it
I recently increased my income from $2,100/month to $2,900/month (starting this month). I'm 22, have a bachelor's degree, and have been working professionally for almost 2 years. I also have savings that are about to reach ₱1 million before I turn 23
I've always seen myself living abroad instead of staying in the Philippines, and living somewhere else, preferably in Europe, has been a goal of mine for a long time. From what I've researched, Spain's Digital Nomad Visa seems like the best path toward making that happen
My question is: am I actually in a good position to do it now, or would it be smarter to wait?
I know there's no single "right" answer, but I'm wondering if there are factors I should consider first, such as:
* Should I have at least 3+ years of experience?
* Should I save more money before making the move?
* Is there an age where this becomes easier or more practical?
* Are there other things people usually don't think about until after they've moved?
Part of me wants to do it as soon as possible because it's something I've wanted for years. The other part worries that I might be rushing into it and overlooking something important
I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have gone through a similar move or have experience with Spain's Digital Nomad Visa. Looking back, do you think you moved at the right time, or is there anything you wish you'd prepared for first?
Thanks!
Just watched The Odyssey in IMAX, and is this normal now...?
Just finished watching The Odyssey, and it was actually my first time watching in IMAX at MOA since everyone kept recommending it as the best cinema to experience it. They were right. The huge screen really made me appreciate the movie more. Kahit tumingin ka lang sa corners ng screen, ang dami mo pa ring napapansing details. Ang ganda talaga!!
Pero normal na ba talaga ngayon na people keep taking pictures during the movie?
I don't mean just the title card or opening logo. I mean throughout the entire movie
Yung katabi ko kasi was taking a photo every 3 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating. Kahit wala namang major scene, basta maganda yung shot or feeling niya may exciting na mangyayari, pipicturan niya. The movie was almost 3 hours long, and eventually I found myself expecting him to pull out his phone every time an exciting scene was coming haha
I lowkey get it kasi sobrang ganda nga ng cinematography haha, pero is that actually allowed, or has it just become normal now?
As much as I wanted to, di ko rin ma-ignore, since IMAX is such a huge screen, I'd sometimes look toward the corners to take in the whole frame and I'd keep seeing his phone because he was raising it every few minutes. Napaisip din ako if he was already blocking the view of the people behind him
I wasn't sure if I was in the right to call him out because he was doing it so confidently. He'd raise his phone, focus it, then take the picture. I even wondered if there was some exception I didn't know about, like maybe he was a film reviewer or there for work. So I didn't say anything haha. Is that actually a thing, or has it just become normal or an unspoken rule in cinemas now?
Can I bring a power bank on a Cebu Pacific flight if the label has worn off?
I have a power bank that I've had for years, and I recently started using it again. The outer layer had started melting, so I cleaned and rubbed it off. Unfortunately, that also removed all the printed labels, including the capacity on the front (20,000 mAh). It's now just plain black with no markings at all
I attached an old photo of the box to show what it originally looked like and its capacity before the labels wore off
I have a domestic flight next week and was wondering if I can still bring it. Will airport security be able to determine whether it's within the allowed limit, or is there a chance they'll confiscate it because it no longer has any labels Thanks!
finally got to use my ref for the reason i bought it in the first place 🤩
one of the reasons why i bought a ref in the first place was because i had to finish in one day the cake my partner bought for my birthday last year, which wasn’t a nice experience 🤢
it’s been months since i got the ref, and ngayon ko lang ulit naalala why i even bought it in the first place. i didn’t want to wait until my next birthday just to have cake again, so i just bought one today for no reason at all
pinili ko pa yung matangkad just to maximize my ref 😌
Accidentally booked 2 weeks in Da Nang, Vietnam 😭
May seat sale kasi, so nagche-check ako ng flights. Ang ginagawa ko usually, sinasakto ko yung return flight to the same day the following week.
(I've been to Taiwan before, pero with family)
WFH naman ako, so plano kong mag-work habang nasa trip. Feeling ko sakto lang yung 2 weeks since hindi ko rin naman mae-explore lahat every day. Enough ba yung 2 weeks for Da Nang, or worth it mag-side trips sa nearby areas?
May ibang factors ba akong dapat malaman if mag-stay ako doon for 2 weeks?
Mga 4k din kasi yung rebooking fee kaya nanghihinayang ako. Baka blessing in disguise na rin tong accidental 2-week trip hahahaha
Would appreciate any advice, especially from those who have stayed in Da Nang for an extended period 🙏
finally able to buy a decent underwear 😭
kaya charan, finally tried it, and sobrang worth it. ang bango and ang comfortable niya 🥹
I rewatched the first movie today and was reminded of Emily getting hit by a car and breaking her leg. That made me think of something in the sequel. There’s a scene where Andy seems to be having trouble walking, and Miranda even asks if she’s okay or needs to get it checked (not sure if I’m remembering that exactly right)
What was that about? Did I miss something earlier that explains it? I kind of expected it to come back later in the plot, but I don’t remember it going anywhere
