$1600 promotion scam

Signed up for Google Ads, saw the offer "spend $800 in 60 days, get $1,600 in credit". Took it, built 2 campaigns.

I spent way more than $800, hit the requirements, kept spending for another 35 days while they were "verifying" only to have the status flipped to "Invalidated."

Their reason: I'm not a "new advertiser" because their system detected a "prior association" - some shared billing profile or domain.

I've never had a Google Ads account. They claim an association, won't say what it is, won't review it.

But here's the part that actually pisses me off: if the check is "fully automated and hardcoded," it runs instantly. It could run at signup and never let you even sign for the promotion. Instead it runs after you spend and it takes another 35 days (of your spending) to verify. They showed me the offer, let me select it, tracked my progress toward it for two months, and only mentioned I was ineligible once the $800 was gone.

Sounds a lot like a scam to me.

No gi apparel

Hi! What do you all wear for no gi classes? Seems like most brands do no gi in men's cuts exclusively (which I don't mind in general, but I'm XS and unisex stuff is just too big for me).

Moves for a tiny person?

Hi! I'm a 105 lb female who's been doing BJJ for a few months. I feel like, on top of my shitty very limited skills, I also have to deal with a huge size difference with most of my training partners. There are a couple of women around my size, but pretty much everyone else has 40+ lbs on me.

I understand some mount escapes in theory, but when someone who's 50% heavier is on top of me, I just can't seem to make anything work.

I'm wondering if there are any techniques, positions, or overall strategies that smaller grapplers should focus on? Or is this mostly something that just gets better with time?

Horrible smell and customer service

Got Skims shorts and they SMELL LIKE A CHEMICAL PLANT. WTF? The smell didn't go away after the wash. I have to agents hanged on me even before talking and I'm on the email tread with someone who apparently doesn't know how to read. Sign.

Body moisturizers/products

Hi! I live in a very dry climate and do sports which means showering 2x a day sometimes. Currently I use Kiehl's Creme De Corps and I love it. But since it's rather thick I can only use it before bed. Also applying it is an ordeal 😅

Looking for something I could use in the morning. If it has actives, would be great. If it's a spray/mist I can just cover myself with quickly, that would be a miracle!

First baby Thrumbo 🥹

Enjoying my chill-ish multigenerational run, tamed my first Thrumbo, then the second, and now I have a baby Thrumbo! I wish we could sheer them because otherwise not sure what to do with them since I adore them too much to use in battles.

Microneedling permanent damage/bad results

Hi! I got my Derminator (along with 100500 other things :) and about to start my home microneedling journey!

However, recently I saw quite a few posts about permanent damage from microneedling - enlarged pores, texture getting noticeably worse, etc. I'm trying to understand what caused it for people who experienced this. Was it depth? Frequency? Specific devices? Wrong serums used during?

For those who had bad results, what do you think went wrong?

Best slip/serum

Hi! What is your favorite slip for microneedling? I'm looking into:

- Sterile saline
- Hyaron (but it seems there is some concern regarding LMW-HA)
- Curenex PDRN

I think I'm particularly interested in Curenex PDRN since it's more than just a glide. Curious about everyone's experience!
