so, I kinda had this idea, since phainon keeps all his buffs while in his ult, what if I somehow manage to get his ult up with E2 cyrene fast enough before he acts, with the planet screwllum planar equipped on him? does he just keep the 70% crit rate the whole game?

or does it not interact with him that way?

So, after 4.3 and the reveal that Aha actually stole part of oroboros's concept of "savoring the aftertaste", which caused THEM to lose THEIR tastebuds, I believe that this sheds light on the relationship between ashveil and the shadow of voracity that he possesses.

Simple, ashveil, or at least his thoughts, have actually become the shadow's "tastebuds", lemme explain why.

We know from the 4.1 quest that the shadow of ashveil only devours the "guilty", that's pretty similar to what ashveil, or la mancha himself seeks, I believe that, since the shadow cannot savor things on its own anymore due to it's tastebuds being gone, that it simply integrated itself within ashveil's brain, causing it to savor the things that ashveil himself savors, such as beating the guilty.

We also know from the recent quest that ashveil also manages to somehow tell what the shadow exactly tasted off of that specific person, and since that shadow isn't exactly communicative, the only way that he actually knows this info, is if his brain got integrated with the shadow somehow.

Could this actually somehow be the relationship between oroboros and Aha THEMSELF?

alright, so, lets begin by describing Zagreus themself, they are depicted as a two faced god who is both smiling and crying, this already makes him visually similar to the real Aha, but let's leave that aside for now.

The biggest hint at that comes from the new livestreaming event, where sparkle says this about cipher with a conversation with feixiao:

this implies that cipher had actually visited the tavern before and sparkle knows about it.

we know from the new story that everyone who is gazed by Aha (or receives a mask), has to visit the tavern at least once, so i believe that Aha had somewhat of an influence on amphoreus.
