Your experiences with emotional and motivational blunting compared to unmedicated depression

I have depression, OCD, social anxiety, and executive dysfunction (possibly caused by autism and its consequences on social life), combined with very low motivation for pretty much everything. My psychiatrist wants to prescribe me a very high dose of sertraline (200mg). However, I’m worried that it could make my already flattened emotional state even more numb and potentially reduce my motivation even further.

My biggest source of motivation right now is actually the anxiety and panic I have about my future. I’m constantly afraid of what will become of me if I don’t get my life together. I’m worried that if sertraline takes away this anxiety, I might lose the only thing that currently pushes me to do anything.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially people who already had low motivation and emotional blunting before taking sertraline?

I’ve already taken 150 mg of sertraline in the past, but I stopped taking it because I wasn't sure whether the emotional blunting and low motivation were actually caused by sertraline or whether they were mainly the result of my depression and social isolation at the time. Also this was a few years ago so I forgot the specific effects it had on me.

What sertraline definitely caused, though, was sexual dysfunction. This was very noticeable and one of the main reasons I eventually stopped taking it. However in my state rn I would prefer that over my negative emotions

So now I’m unsure whether I should be worried about the emotional blunting getting worse with a higher dose, or whether what I experienced back then was simply my depression and isolation.

Very uncomfortable headrest

I’m currently in the process of buying a new car. We took the Dacia Sandero Stepway for a test drive, and it was extremely uncomfortable. The headrest has this edge that forces your head to tilt forward. I also couldn’t quickly find a way to adjust the height of the headrest. And even if it is adjustable, I can’t imagine any height at which it would actually be comfortable. Am I doing smth wrong?

Was genau macht euch Spaß daran?

Am I doing something wrong?

I have 0 experience. Ive got 3 perfumes, all as presents over the years. I really like them (especially Wolfang Joop Freigeist), however after only one spray, the smell is incredibly strong. Its independent of the specific perfume. I sometimes see reels of people spraying multiple sprays and now wonder if im doing something wrong. Do the do half pressses or somthing? I often get comments its too strong fo a smell

Warum die Klinik statt ambulante Therapie?

In meiner 3.

Mail an Therapeutin schreiben?

Hallo,

How do you approach a cut?

I've been doing my first cut for a few weeks now, but progress has been pretty slow. Part of the problem is that I'm probably eating more "hidden" calories than I realize, and on top of that I sometimes get really strong cravings and end up giving in.

Because of that, I've only lost about 2 kg over the last 1–2 months. At the same time, I've definitely noticed that I'm getting weaker and have less energy.

For example, I'm getting fewer reps on bicep exercises, and for cable external rotations I even had to drop an entire weight level because I could only manage 2 reps with the weight I normally use. Strangely enough, my back exercises haven't gotten weaker at all, they've stayed the same or maybe even improved slightly.

How do you guys handle training during a cut?

I've read that it's better to lower the weight and increase the reps since recovery is noticeably worse while cutting, which also increases the risk of injury. I'm not sure if that's actually the best approach, but honestly, training like that is a lot less fun.

Postprocessor Arguments for Thumbnail Fixing

Hello,

I have a question regarding the postprocessor argument options. There are options like Thumbnailsconvertor or Fixupstretched. It sounds like it fixes the 16:9 thumbnails when downloading Youtube videos as music files and embedding the thumbnails as the music cover, and converts them to 1:1 covers. Is it really what it does? How would I use them? The usage examples are kind of cryptic to me. If this really does what I suspect, can someone please give me an example of how to use it:

--postprocessor-args NAME:ARGS
--postprocessor-args NAME:ARGS

Give these arguments to the postprocessors. Specify the postprocessor/executable name and the arguments separated by a colon ":" to give the argument to the specified postprocessor/executable. Supported PP are: Merger, ModifyChapters, SplitChapters, ExtractAudio, VideoRemuxer, VideoConvertor, Metadata, EmbedSubtitle, EmbedThumbnail, SubtitlesConvertor, ThumbnailsConvertor, FixupStretched, FixupM4a, FixupM3u8, FixupTimestamp and FixupDuration. The supported executables are: AtomicParsley, FFmpeg and FFprobe. You can also specify "PP+EXE:ARGS" to give the arguments to the specified executable only when being used by the specified postprocessor. Additionally, for ffmpeg/ffprobe, "_i"/"_o" can be appended to the prefix optionally followed by a number to pass the argument before the specified input/output file, e.g. --ppa "Merger+ffmpeg_i1:-v quiet". You can use this option multiple times to give different arguments to different postprocessors. (Alias: --ppa)
