I am shocked to learn that TX elementary schools are 730-250 (average)- about 7 hr 20 min a day. Every other state I looked up, public school is 6.5 hours. That’s an extra 5+ hours a week for our kids to be in school… the day is so long, elementary starts wildly early compared to other states (literally everywhere except FL, GA, Alabama, TN, Carolinas…).

It’s not like TX is out performing the states that have shorter days and later start times.

What gives?

My cruise out of PC on the Wish- people are reporting late PAT (gold getting 145pm) for those that have already checked in. The earliest boarding group was 1130am, group 1. It’s the first HOTHS cruise so I assume it’s for decorating.

We are debating canceling our DCL transport from the resort and renting a car. I’m assuming that will significantly delay our PAT. Can anyone confirm or explain how this works?

We only took DCL ground transport once from MCO in January and got on without issue and got on around 1230pm.

Big old fight broke out with some young teens in the CFA/Kohls parking lot. At least 8 cop cars, kids in handcuffs.

A reminder no one should need but apparently do: watch your kids, teach them right and maybe know where they are 🙄

Last time I was on trizepitide, it was actually Mounjaro in 2023 a year after I had my baby - the dosing was 2.5 and then 5mg. I’ve since had another baby a year ago and was started on the compound.

My NP started me at 2mg x4 weeks and then 3mg x4 weeks and then 6mg. Is this pretty standard? On my 3rd dose of 2mg and it’s pretty stagnant & food noise and bloating/inflammation is back, so she told me to take my last dose of 2mg on day 6 instead of 7.

Has anyone else seen dosing like this?

*note: I’ve had 3 kids. I tried like hell to lose weight after my first & NOTHING happened. After my 2nd, my OB suggested it due to hormonal changes & it was truly a miracle for me. Just to give someone else hope if your reasoning is stubborn hormonal / fertility treatment /postpartum / late 30s weight!🩷

On the Legend now. The 530pm main dining is empty, tons of servers just standing around staring at the few of us that are here. Is this normal for RCL especially on the bigger ships?

Edit: Chef just announced after the staff “dance” at the main dining that there at 7,520 guests on board and 427 chefs! We also ate at Pier 7 and Giovanni’s and maybe we just didn’t see that many people. I also didn’t realize maybe because we’re in Europe people (the guests) eat later.

Did Mikayla go to Hawaii by herself + kids? Or does she just not show the nanny or Jace?
