I have both shiny charms and have been actively shiny hunting this stupid yet beloved green slithery turd for almost 4 days. My Nuzlocke has come to a screeching halt from just wanting to get this guys shiny form. Yet I can run into a shiny Numel randomly with only one charm. This game hates me.
Cyndaquil was my super lucky Fiery Path encounter and I’ve committed to making sure she survives the run. So far only 1 impactful loss of Arbok.
No tempo so I spammed def curl against spinda which annoyingly spammed encore and psybeam. After that was just a bulk battle between me and a confused and paralyzed slaking. Honestly my proudest nuzlocke gym battle

I just luckily beat Mr. Fuji and his team of damn level 30’s without a loss. It’s a blessing Pidgeotto is leveled up so much.
Didn’t really know how encounters work with stealing so the rule I made is as long as I haven’t had a wild encounter I can go through each trainer on that route, not just the very first, and pick the one I want but just the one. I’ve had the bad luck of not getting any mons cause I either had them already or hoped for a better with the next trainer just to not have another to face and I’ve had it where I accidentally got a wild encounter.
With the level caps for each “chapter” it’s definitely, in my opinion, a difficult game to Nuzlocke. For example since I already had my graveyard encounter I couldn’t take one of Mr Fuji’s level 30s as bad as I wanted one.
He only looks grumpy because I woke him from a nap. He’s not acting any different just wondering if he’s hiding pain
Most surprising losses were a moon blast and magical lead against my Sableye and Swampert 😭 Chimecho has been the soul survivor and goat of this squad all game. If you ever have the opportunity to have one on your team take it.
The daycare charged me $25k per pokemon, claiming and showing they went up about 4-5 levels, I got them back and haven’t even gone up one level. $50k for nothing

Considering, if possible, to trade out of the 1.03 and 2.10 for the 1.06 and 2.06 to have closer draft picks at the beginning. Smart move or no?
Everything I look up says to take Maye but I worry that his fantasy value is highly inflated based on his historically easy regular season schedule. Not to mention the absolute reality of a sophomore slump and beyond like CJ Stroud. If you look at the games where Maye played good defenses (mainly playoffs) he didn’t perform too hot. 6 TDs, 4 Ints, 58% completion. A far off comparison to his regular season cupcake schedule. Am I overthinking this or am I thinking correctly? My second choice is Hurts
Right off the bat, I know rb room and bench is ass. The draft pick is either 1.03 or 1.04 . Achane is on the block and supposedly the 1.01 is moveable for the right price. Also not thrilled at the pushing 30 WR core. Could trade Brown or Moore for younger. Do I gut this team to get more depth and upgrade slightly at rb or do I improve on the team and try and fill those holes with a weak bench?
While JSN is just a natural freak of nature, does Raiders obtaining Kubaik as HC, who also brought along Seattle’s QB coach to be OC, finally get Tucker the staff he needs to breakout and become a buy low diamond in the rough?
NOTES:
• Had no plan when I took Allen at 1.2 . Never had him before and it was too tempting. Still unsure of how to go 1st round
• Might not do back to back QBs again as I felt I fell behind in grabbing talent to fill my roster. I saw plenty of good QBs go rounds 3-5.
• With Tet and Judkins and my cornerstone young high ceiling WR/RB 1, I feel it’s a good idea to go into next draft with the same idea
• Get RBs sooner, as they go quick. I was lucky Kyren was still available but I feel that’s due to the emergence of Corum shifting the backfield into a 60/40 running style.
• Aside from QB, I tried to stick to the strategy of young talent that hasn’t yet peaked but that went downhill.
Thoughts on my first ever dynasty draft?
I know my running back situation could improve which I plan to trade for. Might sell Allen midway or end of season for a package deepening how I’m doing.

I have J Allen, Hurts, TMac, and Judkins. Aside from QB, I’m starting off with players who aren’t already in the middle of their prime but will be elites once hit to get the most value out of them. Everything is screaming Garrett Wilson to me unless someone has a better argument against
