With the new Avengers movie coming soon I’m hopeful that the Stucky fans will be resurrected. I’ve got a few fics lined up that I hope to have ready to post when the movie comes out and I’m wondering if there are any Stucky events or groups that have plans coming up?

I’m in a Stucky discord server but it hasn’t been active in over a year, and all the old Tumblrs i used to follow are inactive or gone. I’m not sure what else is out there?

I’m excited for the new movie though, mostly for the Stucky fanfic potential lol

Harry hates that smug politician and his corrupt administration, he would never want to spent more time than he absolutely has to in his presence. But for some reason every matchmaking service he’s tried seems to think they’re made for each other or something.

Harry has had a hard time dating for years now. Every time he’d meet someone interesting they would stop talking to him as soon as they tried to date. It was as if some cosmic force was stopping anyone from dating him. (The cosmic force is Tom’s possessiveness)

Which was why he’s started using matchmaking services. The first time he showed up at a date to see minister fucking riddle he made the mistake of staying for the date. It was unbearable. The minister was somehow even more condescending and presumptuous outside of work, pulling out his chair, pouring his drink, *ordering for him*, and then paying the whole bill. It was insufferable. He was much more careful the next time, but when he was matched with Tom again the bastard caught him before he could escape, forcing him to share yet another uncomfortably expensive meal where he ordered everything in French, that stupid show-off.

This has happened nearly a dozen times now. He had even used international dating services and still wound up on a date with the fucking minister in Belgium.

But finally he had succeeded. He used a dating service based out of Japan, using a false identity, and carefully covered his trail. There was no way whatever weird shenanigans would interfere. No one knew about this one and it wasn’t connected to him in any traceable way. And lo and behold, he was NOT matched with Tom Riddle! This was proof, proof that they were not soul mates, but that some fuckery was afoot!

Harry prepared for his date with Mr. Vorumōto. Finally, a nice normal date with a Japanese man, thank goodness for translation charms.

Harry sat at their reserved table, hoping his date wouldn’t mind that he used a false name. He looked up with a smile when a man approached the seat across from him, but the smile died on his face.

“Hello again, Harry.”

“What the fuck.”

(Yes, Tom also has every dating service in the world bribed or blackmailed into matching Harry with him. Tom thinks it’s so romantic! And isn’t it charming how they’ve traveled the world together? This will be their fourteenth date ✨)

I really love fandom fests and I started getting into them again recently. Severitus is my favorite trope of all time and I think it would be so awesome to have a fic/art fest for it! Would anyone here be interested in participating in something like this? It wouldn’t be for a long time, I haven’t organized one of these before, but I just want to test the waters and see what kind of interest there is!

I’m begging all of you to read this fic. If you like crack, if you need a laugh, this is hands down the funniest tomarry fic I’ve ever read and I’m a big fan of humor fics.

Tom is punished by Death for pursuing immortality, by being body swapped with Crookshanks. It’s a timeline mashup where Tom is going to school at the same time as Harry and his friends. Please please read it, it’s complete and so hilarious and the author deserves endless love!

I’m reading it right now and I really enjoy it, I read it before but it’s still ongoing so a lot has updated since then. I basically want to know these things about the Weasleys and Sirius

I’m not sure if the fic has actually gotten far enough to answer those questions but I’d really like to know for my peace of mind.

And for anyone who hasn’t read it yet I highly recommend it, this Snape is super interesting, still very much dark but also very much reformed and working hard to support his students. I read up to chapter 23 in the par and loved it!

I want to get back into doing fic events, I loved working with other writers/artists, but it seems like whenever I find out about them it’s always way too late to join. I don’t know where to find them anymore, I’m not active on social media, I basically only use Reddit, so I’m pretty out of the loop on fandom events and activities.

I recently found out about fffx ( https://fffx.dreamwidth.org/ ) from a random Reddit comment. Does anyone know about other events and where to find them? For fandom specific events do they usually happen on tumblr/discord/twitter??

(If anyone knows about my fandoms specifically let me know too! They are: the Witcher, baldurs gate, Harry Potter, MCU/stucky, teen wolf, hazbin hotel, one piece)

Basically Steve works for Hydra for whatever reason, finds out about the winter soldier, is appalled at how he’s treated, and tries to save him. I really love this trope but I haven’t found very many of them and I think some have been deleted . Would love some recs!

Okay so this is hard to articulate, but it’s something I’ve thought about forever and I think it might be an ace thing.

Since I was I kid I would have these abstract crushes/attractions/squishes on fictional characters from books/anime/cartoons/video games and I’d have an image of them in my head that’s also fairly abstract. Whenever the characters get a live action actor or fan-cast, or someone would post a cosplay or something, it would always spoil my attraction, no matter how attractive the actor/human is. I can only find them appealing in their fictional form.

It used to be a really strong unsettling feeling but I can mostly overlook it these days. I thought of it now because I just saw a post about a video game character I really like where a real person shared a picture of his upper body. It looks almost exactly like the video game character’s body, just real, but somehow it being real made it really uncomfortable for me. It’s especially uncomfortable when it’s a real human underdressed or in portrayed sexually, even if I might enjoy the same image as a drawing or in writing. Again, it’s hard to articulate how it makes me feel and unpack my thoughts around it.

Does anyone else feel this way? Is this an ace thing? Is this in the realm of aego (I’m still learning about that). Would love to hear others thoughts/experiences!
