I wanted a purpose built scrap hauler so I built a light container ship. Built an extended arm off the right side to attach containers to and allow for engine placement. The interior isn't 100% yet, but it will get there.
Went down to the hanger of my freighter and my Vintage Interceptor grew, it couldn't even fit through the hanger doors!
Picked this up today, this little guitar has no business being as good as it is at it's price. I saw it earlier in the week and love feel of the neck on it. The metallic blue didn't hurt either.
Spent the rest of the week going around town and playing Les Pauls and a vintage Super Sweede in various shops and came back to this one. Sure, the Dusenberg I played beat it, but at 8x it's price (not a fair battle, the Dusenberg was an unbelievably beautiful guitar).
Anyway, plugged this in today, and it sounds as good as it looks. Anyway, it followed me home.

Apparently it was deliberate. LRT motormen (the Calgary Transit C-Train runs alongside the CP right of way) had radioed in saying that someone was seen hanging onto the last rail car joyriding and waving at people. He is suspected of decoupling the cars from the rest of the train and the cars were rolling out of control.
Happened at 7:50 am today, 13 cars have ended up in a storm pond.
Some photos from yesterday at Confederation Park with Nenshi, and several Calgary MLAs. It was a very mixed crowd, with some familiar faces and volunteers from the ABNDP, people who haven't been political till Smith's UCP pushed them to coming out and taking a stand. I spoke to several people who have been life long conservatives who are concerned about Maple MAGA and are considering another choice.
Edit. Also not a bad turnout for a weekday around noon, with less than 24hr notice of the event.
Since then the canvas has been replaced and it's looking good again.

I just wanted to send a quick note that we will be holding an event with our leader Naheed Nenshi tomorrow at 11:00am at the Confederation Park Monument. The event is in response to the Premier likely adding of a separatism question to the ballot in October, Nenshi will be speaking on remaining in Canada. We need volunteers to stand in the background with signs, flags, and other materials.
