2024 SV won’t start and has ABS codes
Two days ago, I had to get a jump to start my car. It would click, but not turn over. Later it started fine using the remote start when I was on my way to an appointment with the intention of having it checked after my appointment.
Well after the appointment, it didn’t start again. While waiting for help, I tried to start it pushing the button and using remote start—nothing. A message popped up about using the parking brake, and the malfunction light came on. I’m once I got it jumped, it started fine.
I went to autozone to check the codes and the charging system. Battery, alternator, and starter all look good. Six codes came up all related to the ABS system.
With research, here is what we found may be going on:
•Low battery voltage. High enough to register as good, but not necessarily high enough to start the car.
•Brake sensor malfunction. Not sure how that would keep the car from starting.
•Brake pedal switch. This would possibly explain why the car started with remote start.
For context, we have 70k miles (we travel a lot and use it for work), and about two weeks ago, we had our first rear brake pads replacement done by a mobile mechanic with great reviews and history. All other maintenance has been done at the dealership (oil and filter changes, tires rotation).
From the research, it looks like it’s a tricky battery, but we don’t want to replace it if it’s not necessary and it doesn’t solve the problem. Or, our mobile mechanic may have damaged/disengaged a wheel sensor or ABS sensor.
Last night, the car started fine without a jump. I am now on my way to the dealership, but I’m hoping someone can give me a heads up on what to expect or look for.
Thank you in advance!
Weird message from support
Has anyone seen this before? It seems scammy, but it’s from support…at 1am…and I don’t have any current guests.
I wasn’t able to post a screenshot, so the copy and paste just has my name and phone number removed.

Newbie help needed
I’ve lost 120 pounds on comp tirz, but stalled at 12.5mg. Increased to 15 for over a month and nothing. My last dose was 2 weeks ago. I’m still maintaining, but have another 50 pounds to goal.
So here I am switching to Reta +. Here is my plan. Please help confirm I’m going in the right direction. I just received an order that should last about 2 months to give me time to figure out next steps.
•Reta: 2mg once weekly
•MOTS C: 1mg daily x 5 days. 8 wks/2 off
After about a month, I plan on adding KLOW 80 with 3 ml bac water, .15 ml daily, 8 wks on/2 off.
Any advice or encouragement you have would be appreciated. Also info on bac water and sterile 3ml syringes for reconstitution. Thank you in advance for your help!
And an app to manage this journey!
Previous prescription requirements
Which telehealths don’t ask for a previous prescription when ordering higher doses?
So this happened this week…

Mother Pie
In the 80’s I read a book about a young black woman, I think her name was Vanilla or something ironic to her skin color, who befriended a young white girl who had lost her mother.
The most significant thing about the book that I have carried with me was the “mother pie”. No one woman can be everything a mother needs to be. That’s why there are others that fill in pieces of the pie like aunts, grandmas, teachers, and neighbors.
I can’t remember anything else about the book, but the concept was so profound because it helped me deal with my own mom not being 100% of what I needed and it allowed me to give myself grace when I couldn’t be everything I thought my own children needed.
TIA
