A longitudinal study published in the journal Progress in Neuro-Psychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry (and highlighted in a recent PsyPost report) followed adults with histories of childhood maltreatment who chose to use psychedelics in communal spaces. The results? Two months after their experience, participants reported massive, lasting reductions in trauma symptoms and internalized shame, alongside a major boost in their sense of connection to the world.

There is a point in an all-night set where the music stops being a collection of tracks and becomes a psychological negotiation. The 2026 edition, however, proved to be a weekend of extreme, fascinating contrasts. We oscillated between the pure, sophisticated, deeply Purist, Classic, Hypnotic & Mental techno we live for, and the hollow, commercial “business techno” spectacle we usually try our best to avoid.
