Someone walked off with our shopping cart!

I was looking at the (new?) chipotle cooked chicken when someone walked off with my shopping cart which was just behind me. It didn't have much in it, but it did have a bunch of reusable grocery bags. We later found the cart near a sample station with some other groceries added on but all our stuff still in there. Who just grabs a cart with stuff in it?!

Good lesson in being vigilant though.

freebie questions from a first-time concert goer

Hello all, I hope this is the right place for this post!

I'll be attending a bts concert later this summer (toronto day 2!) and it's my first bts concert or really kpop concert of any kind. I see people talk about receiving/making freebies a lot so i thought i'd ask here.

  1. Do freebies need to be handmade or are etsy or other ready-made options fine?
  2. How many freebies do people usually bring to give away?
  3. Do you give them away to people you're lining up with or the people seated near you?

Sorry if these are very basic questions, i want to be sure to get my fan etiquette right! If there are any key points I'm missing, i would appreciate a headsup. Thanks.

[Korean > English] Hangul writing on t-shirt

I bought this t-shirt years ago on a trip to Korea and forgot all about it till recently. I vaguely recall the packaging saying it was hangul-themed, but I'm wondering what it actually says (if anything.) Thanks!

Ex partner refuses to return baby to mother, seeking emergency advice on next steps

Posting on behalf of a friend who doesn't use reddit.

My friend (G) and her former common-law husband (D), both residents of Ontario, share a child who is now two and a half years old. They separated when the baby was three months old and have since lived separately. G has taken care of the baby almost singlehandedly since then. The baby lives with G; she is registered at and attends a daycare near G's residence. All financial costs are handled by G.

There is no custody agreement in place, but D was allowed to see the baby whenever he wanted and often took the baby to his residence for the weekend. The co-parenting relationship was generally cordial, with D allowing G to take the baby out of the country on multiple occasions to visit family.

This past week, D offered to take the baby to give G a break. He is now refusing to give the baby back and is not citing a clear reason. It should be noted that D has multiple nationalities/passports, so that adds another layer of risk.

What should G do now to regain custody? Also since it is a long weekend, can anything be done on an emergency basis or does she have to wait till Monday?

Thank you for your advice.

Hi, I'm a 42 year old Indian Canadian woman who lives in Scarborough. There are so many restaurants/cafes here I'd love to try and it would be lovely to have company along for the journey. If you're interested in maybe a bi-weekly meetup where we try new food and fun conversation, please reply below!

Edited 5th May @ 4:25 pm: thank you to everyone who's expressed interest in joining this Scarborough food journey! I've created a discord and will DM interested individuals a link to join.
