Last night I went to the Hillsborough County Dems meeting last night and I found out that currently there is nobody running on the democratic ticket for sheriff.
Friends this position pays $80K a year. You don’t need any experience. I haven’t done the research, but it most likely comes with benefits. You decide if the largest (population wise) county in NH works with ICE.
I currently hold a town office so I can’t run but the filing period ends on Friday SO THERE IS STILL TIME!
This is Jake the crow from Shawshank Redemption.
I’ve had this tattoo for 8 years and for some reason I have this little mark in the forget me not. What is happening here?
The urge to pick at it is strong but I don’t think anything has ever been improved by picking at it.
Toy Story Cardigan?
Like blue with cloud patches
Or sherif woody yellow with sherif star patches
So I watched the sex ed episode (S1E8) with my husband and he asked a question which I thought the sub may find interesting.
How can their sex education be so minimal when they have animals?
Like these people have horses. At one point a plum/green says her commander was offering to get her a dog. In THT they escape to that farm where I’m pretty sure there are goats and pigs. Animals don’t really care about purity culture. How can they hide this from children? Even a neutered house dog has been known to hump a decorative pillow or two. Like I get that observing farm animals does not equate to sex education but it shouldn’t Shu understand a “rod of flesh” and how babies are made?
Hey Little Monsters,
I found this lanyard while cleaning my closet. I did go to the Monster Ball in summer 2010 (I was in the pit). I got this lanyard. While I still love Lady Gaga I am on a mission to declutter my space. eBay shows a circular one on sale for $90 but that seems too excessive. What would someone be willing to pay for this?
Im being intentionally vague because I don’t know who will see this.
I am on a quest to be the most informed voter I can be this election cycle. I want to hear every candidate from both political parties running for my congressional district. This year it’s an open primary so there are a lot of people running. I’m registered as an independent but I’m active in my town’s Democratic Committee.
A neighboring city had a democratic forum where 6 democrats were. It was nice to see them and hear them all at once. I was wondering why the Republicans weren’t doing that. I reached out to my Republican state rep (who I am friendly with) and asked if our town could do something similar for Republicans. They said they were. Cool. I asked for the details. I was sent a Facebook link. I’m blocked. Okay nbd. He sends me a screenshot of the event. I tell him I will be there. He says “let me check that it’s not just for members only.” Surprise it is. Oh well. My quest will continue.
On my towns unofficial facebook page there is now an open invite for the forum. I’m still blocked from the event page. Do I just show up? Do I play dumb and be like “oh did the rules change? Can I go now?”? The event has an RSVP. I don’t want to show up and be turned away/kicked out because that’s embarrassing. I don’t want to join the Republican committee because it has a $15 monthly fee and I think that’s dumb. I’m not trying to cause a raucous or be argumentative I just want to hear what they have to say in person, ask my softball personality question that I ask everyone, and maybe vote for them in the general. I’m trying not to take this personally but it feels like it.
Also in my quest to get this answer I have tried to post in more conservative subs and it automatically gets removed which is why I’m here now in Ask Democrats.
Never in my life have I had such a smooth Ticketmaster experience. Like I was shocked by the fact I entered at 12 and was 10th in line. Can’t wait for a galentines day weekend in Brooklyn!
