I love that their hair works for big curlers. I just used some hair gel prior to putting the curlers in and let that sit for a day.
Kinda glad there isn't more fashion packs for these dolls because I would be more broke lol.
It’s been an adjustment for Barbie, what with three new sets of roommates, but the Dreamhouse era is as bygone as her capitalistic dreams. These days, she’s just trucking along. Literally. She borrows Kelly’s toy truck on the daily to zoom around. Joyriding a child’s pickup truck is her new hobby unlocked for 2026. Might turn it into a side hustle, shes open to ideas. 🤣
Both dolls are The Bay exclusives from the 90s. Barbie on Bay has the curly hair and Toyland Barbie has the lighter hair colour.
The boxes open like a lid and after some deliberating I just decided to unbox. Happy they are out!
After the swap, on Bay decided to dress up and go out on the town 🎶while Toyland found some pj's and called it a night. 💤
She will never return to the Holiday red. 😆
Its super hot out so they should dry quick. Although last time, Barbie forgot and the clothes hung on the line until the next rainfall. 🤷♀️
Hopefully this makes sense. Like finding a VHS that you watched a lot so its special for that reason but maybe not the most memorable movie. Bonus if it never made it onto DVD.
And talking scary movies, Jeepers Creepers is a fun one to watch during the summer.
Popular season 1 was $20 at Salvation Army, they knew what they had, I've never seen it out in the wild. Didn't know Buddy got a DVD release 👌 and never heard of the Disney movie but what a cool way to find a new (old) movie to watch.
Fun? Fact, movie called Freaky Deaky was on TV the other day and discovered Walter Matthaus son is the director.
Chlorine instead of salt but she'll take what she can get. 🧜♀️
Just hanging out by the lighthouse and the pool and the next thing they knew it, Ariel appeared! Best day ever! 🧜♀️
The boxes make a nice background and floor. These girlies were on clearance. There is a little symbol on the bottom of their boxes to see which is which doll.
Becky was my first in this collection. The Barbie with a Hearing Aid never got anything put on the packaging for it. Her face mold was wonky so I don't have her anymore. Would love to see a better attempt made for that disability. Also would love to see Braille on all Barbie boxes. I love that these dolls exist and know Becky loves the company!
Kept these ladies in box for too long. 😅
Clearance cuties from a couple years ago.
The stands are terrible. Unless it's just me... but I'm pretty sure it's the stands. 🤣
You can find Skipper here, everyday, after 6pm. Camp counselor is really taking it out of her this Summer.
Anna Sui had an outfit change and Deluxe added a jacket. Love seeing these Barbies after growing up with just the stereotypical ones. 💜
I kept it in box for a while but Glinda got curious how the dress and crown would suite her. 💜
Stacie and Skipper are ready for Summer, sort of.
Teresa has a calm cat and daughter that respect her collection and don't generally mess with it but even if they do its all secondhand anyway.
Teresa has been unlucky in love with Kens. They are either more in love with her collection than her, pawning dolls for a gold plated back scratcher or a mullet maker (don't ask), or unboxing them in confusion.
Teresa will stick with what shes got. Which is a lot. ❤️
Barbie Deluxe Style with the shorts and pants together confuses me but I guess, fashion?
Barbie family & friends, does she have a name and is she a family member or a friend? Gotta be friend, right? Unless she's Barbies long lost cousin..?
Grad Barbies face is gorgeous 😍 ✨️
The second Barbie Deluxe Style has lovely hair and a unique dress imo.
Barbie Style #249 is on my wishlist because shes affordable and odile.
What, if any lol, releases have you been window shopping?
Alana, Aquata, and Arista. They dont all have their fins so the cup is where they go for now. Any other ideas?
I love this Barbie house. I love all the ones that fold up and this one especially because of the doors. Whats your favourite fold up house? Like the ones you could take in the car for a day size.
