OblivionMP, multiplayer for Oblivion Remastered. New trailer #4 is up!

Hey! Msk from the OblivionMP team here again! New trailer just dropped and we're now in pre-alpha testing with our trusted testers group.

OblivionMP is a real-time multiplayer mod running on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Closest comparison is FiveM, but in Cyrodiil. We hand you the world and the toolkit, you decide what happens in it. It's an open world sandbox, and what Cyrodiil turns into is up to whoever's on the server. Nobody hands you a quest here. You're architects and players.

What's in this trailer:

  • Synced invisibility, replicated across clients
  • Cross-client spell combat in real time
  • Real-time sync across the entire map
  • Swimming and water, synced
  • Alchemy and consumables replicating to every client
  • Runtime dialogue injection via the SDK

We're aiming for release in the upcoming weeks. The Discord is where the build gets talked about and where Early Access goes out first. We also just opened a #world-building channel there for people designing servers they want to run, so if you've already got an idea for what your Cyrodiil looks like, that's the place.

Happy to answer questions in the thread here :)

OblivionMP, multiplayer for Oblivion Remastered. New trailer [Teaser 4] is up

hey there r/oblivionmods. First time posting here, but this sub helped me a ton over the years getting the most out of Oblivion, so thanks for that, genuinely.

Quick intro: I'm part of ReadyM, a small team building OblivionMP - basically a multiplayer ecosystem for Oblivion Remastered. Some of you might have heard of it, some not. :)
We just dropped our 4th trailer and this felt like the right place to share it.

Everything in the video is real - live recordings and running across clients: synced stealth and invisibility, spell combat in real time, swimming, alchemy replicating to everyone, and runtime dialogue through our SDK. We are building a sandbox for you with no main storyline. The idea is server owners and modders shape their own Cyrodiil. Still pre-alpha but the public alpha is coming together in the next few weeks. Would love to hear what you think, happy to answer anything.

[Gameplay / Recommendations] Arms of God - any other games like this one?

Hey everyone. New to this subreddit. Gotta question if you know of any other dark & grim bullet-hell roguelikes like this one? I'd played Vampire Survivors in the past and I mean I PLAYED the sh*t out of that game - it was pretty much the main reason I bought my Legion GO in the first place. Then I played some Brotato and tried Be My Horde. Yesterday I got AoG on Steam as part of the BULLET FEST and thought you guys might recommend other productions with similar vibe to this one that would run well on my handheld. Thanks in advance - Pete -

A friend of mine is releasing a game. Asmon liked the old trailer, so here's the new one.

Hey there boys!

So a good friend of mine is dropping a game next week, early access on Steam. I've been watching Asmon for years now (and been lurking here and there), so I figured I'd do my dev bud a solid and leave it here.

Quick bg story: the game creator's name is Dominik, a solo dev from Poland (his studio's called Dark Jay), and I'm pretty sure Asmon checked out his old trailer way back (like a year and a half ago) and seemed to like it. Dominik just dropped a brand new one for the EA launch next Monday and honestly it goes hard. Dom's a shy and humble boy and would never post this himself, so I'm doing it for him. ;]

The game's called 'Arms of God' and is a dark roguelite autoshooter, kinda Brotato meets a baby made by a Warhammer 40k, Doom and Diablo (somehow)... It has an awesome metal soundtrack and way more gore than the genre usually gets.

If you guys like it and if Asmon likes what's in it and wants to play the game at some point, I can hit Dominik up to hop on stream with y'all to share some keys. He'll deffo send a few Zack's way.

Lemme know what you think of the trailer, of the whole idea behind AoG, and whether you'd play it or not. Dom would be genuinely stoked to get feedback from this crowd. :)

Cheers,

Pete
