Open world game suggestions

Really stuck on what to play and am in serious need of some good suggestions. I have a decent PC and an Xbox if that helps.

I need something to get off the endless path of FPS games, I’m going to go insane if I launch apex legends one more time.

I guess I’m after something that’s open world where I can go my own pace, a good story would help, I like searching for loot/weapons/armour etc.

I was looking at the Witcher 3 as I know it’s highly regarded but I think I might want something a little newer? Not sure maybe someone can sway me to it as I can play this for free or $11 via steam.

Throw any suggestions at me please.

What happens when 1.0 releases?

Recently started playing and loving it so far however I am aware that 1.0 releases soon and I’m not someone with plenty of time to spare.

I don’t really want to get too invested before the 1.0 release and then have to start again due to new content etc

What is actually expected to happen? Am I best to find another game until the 1.0 release. Will my shit carry over?

Cartel style TV shows

I have seen just about all there is in the way of gang/cartel/drugs tv series with narcos being the obvious front runner

Is there anything that’s been released in the last 12 months or something that is in the works that follow the same or similar formula (seen both dear killer Nannies and Legends)

Good DAC/AMP for DT990

Currently have them running through a SK01 and I like the sound but feel like it may be lacking? I was wondering if what I’m running or if I should look at upgrading. If I upgrade what should I be looking at and for? My budget would only be around $200 AUD

Primarily used for PC Gaming, shooters mainly.

Some advice/encouragement with transition

We have started sleep training our 7 month old boy who since he was born has slept on his mum. We are now on night 6 and he has slept through the night every single night in his cot/crib and haven’t needed to go in to soothe him once. Nor has he needed a feed during the night. He’s pretty much done it all himself. 7am wake up from going down at 6:30-7pm.

We have blocked out all light at night, he has his routine and we also use rain sounds as white noise.

Naps however.. he will not nap. Day 1 and 2 he napped for maybe 20-30 minutes after crying for 40-60 minutes. Now since day 3-4 he will not nap at all, he will just scream despite showing all the signs of being tired.

Is this likely a phase? Is there something we can try to change his habits throughout the day?

Any suggestions or theory’s are welcome.

Monitor help.

Need help choosing a good monitor.

I was looking at a MO27Q28G but have since come to the realisation after researching that an oled is not ideal for work purposes as I will be using it for probably 70% work and 30% gaming.

My current monitor is a 5 year old XG279Q

1440p is preferred - running on a 4070TI
Budget isn’t a major issue
Good range of colours/blacks for story based games etc
High refresh rate

Or should I just get an oled and hope for the best?

Which monitor is better

I currently have a ROG XG279Q which has served me very well over the years. Just wondering if someone with some knowledge can tell me if I’m best to stick with this monitor or go the XG32UCG dual mode

Looking for a 32 inch monitor

Unsure how much specs matter, will list them below. I’m looking for a 32 inch monitor that will give me a good experience with casual games with the occasional FPS game mixed in. The budget isn’t a massive issue i would prefer if it wasnt like 3k or something.

Specs:

I9-14900k
RTX 4070 Ti
32gb ram
