Creative Picture Controls - Z6iii

Some sample creative picture controls straight out of the camera, converted to JPG via NX Studio

All taken with the Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE). Exposure was f/10 1/13s ISO320.

1 Vivid - my usual selection

2 Monochrome - quite a nice look

3 Flat Monochrome - detail quite nice

4 Deep Tone Monochrome - perhaps losing a bit of detail

The City in the afternoon light

Fantastic light help produce great colours in your photos.

Yesterday afternoon I took a photowalk organised by local photographer and instructor Paul Ferris Of Photo Genius. It was a great afternoon spent with other amateur photographers with Paul on hand to offer tips and advice and answer questions.

Brisbane City - Z6iii with Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE)

These were taken this afternoon on a photowalk organised by local Brisbane photographer Paul Ferris.

All these are straight out of the camera - no edits. I like the look of the images I got with this combination today.

I used the Vivid picture control except for the mone that used Monochrome.

I am super happy with the photos I am getting out of the Z6iii. I haven't used this 28mm lens much (nomally been using the Z 24-120mm f/4 S) but judging from these, I certainly will do more with the 28mm. It's a great value Z lens.

Paul runs a variety of photographic courses in Brisbane. I have done a few and learnt alot from him. Lookup PhotoGenius or have a look in a followup reply in this thread for his details.

Snapseed Updated to support recent NEF raw files

Back when I was using DSLRs I almost exclusively used snapseed on my phone to edit pics directly from the camera but since upgrading to the Z system I have not been able to use it cause it didn't support the newer raw files.

Well Yesterday they updated the app with more raw support and my Z6III files are supported!

I'll add a couple of pics from my most recent shoot edited with it

Beautiful Banksia - Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens, SA

I think it is Banksia Integrifolia but might be something similar. There was a pair of rainbow lorrikeets having the best time eating the flower.
