Know a good upholstery guy/person who likes salmon fishing?

Happy Monday! I wish I had an upholstery person in my network!!!

We have a beloved salmon fishing boat and the stitching on a couple boat seat covers gave up. We don’t have a ton of dough for a repair AND we probably will only have the boat one—maaaaaybe two—more season(s).

We had a seat fixed a few years back and we are still financially “recovering” FROM said re-covering! (It was a lot!). If you add “boat” to any service the price goes way up. You might get charged by Reddit just for reading this because it says “boat”! :). We have a boat…but

the gas is killing us and the wife is embarrassed to bring friends out now with the seats.

We don’t need these restored to how they were…we just need a patch and fix maybe? A one-season “good enough” fix. Can these be restitched? I’m tempted to dip them in Flex Seal, haha.

You know an upholstery guy/person? Maybe one who charges a super fair price and also might want a guided trip to catch coho with us in the South Sound this late summer/early fall?!!

Fishing boat seats help!

Stitching gave up on our boat seats. These seats hinge and cover storage areas. Our beloved salmon fishing boat probably only had a year left so we’re looking for repair-on-a-budget options. Anything “marine” usually costs an arm and another arm. You—redditor—probably got charged a small fee just for reading this post because it says “boat”. My apologies! We had the captain seat recovered a couple years back and the cost was insane so we are looking at either DIY options or ideas. I was thinking of removing one and taking it in to a few shops that do a decent volume with autos. That way nobody has to travel and we don’t tow a boat. Also, the “marine” upholstery shops are all busy until winter basically. Thanks for ideas!

Where should the punctuation go?

Seen at 7-Eleven…to be more specific I mean the 7-Eleven at 19th & Trafton, to be more specific I mean flagship-ass with freshly baked cookies 2 for a buck best-in-Tacoma 7-Eleven what WHAAAAA!?

I am here eating fresh baked cookies and listening to opera on their PA system and I wonder if I’m reading this not-long bus correctly.

Since family hope is a topic I support..and my coworker’s youngest son is multicultural…I want to be positive I’m reading this correctly.
