USA seller June 30, 2026 - automatic payout not sent today
I typically get the payout email early in the morning each Tuesday. Nothing arrived today. I checked my payouts and nothing was sent, and it says my next payout is next week. I read something about a glitch last week that is not being discussed much, where payouts were not sent automatically. Also, express/instant payouts were not being made.
Anyone have an update? I just requested my payout manually and it says it's on the way, as well as saying there are no upcoming payouts. Hopefully that changes back to next week when the payout is made.
XEC loyalty bonus this week?
If I understand correctly there will be no loyalty payout this week because the pool has not been up for 96 hours yet. Is that correct? If so you should fix the days online counter on the stats page.
Did the wifi go bad, or some other component? Brownout detector was triggered
This morning I found that one of the ESP32s was offline. Connecting to it in console mode gives me this. Tried re-flashing, new cable, different power cable, etc. Same result each time. Is it salvageable?
Top mount for AMS Lite
I see so many different models and styles! I know there's an "official" one but does that mean it's the best? Probably not. What's your favorite and what material did you use to print it? I think I need one and am interested in commissioning the print.
Need equipment advice or recommendation
6 year old house was build with a box in the coat closet where the TV/internet connections come in, and 2 RJ45 ports (1 upstairs and 1 first floor). We installed the Spectrum modem in the closet along with a TP-Link hardwired router (not a wifi router). Wifi router is on a table next to the 1st floor network port, it connects to the port (LAN port to wall jack) and the wall jack wired into router in the closet. Initially upstairs port had an Xbox connected but now is unused.
Upstairs room (not near the upstairs network port) converted into home office gets awful wifi connection, understandably so as it is essentially at the complete opposite part of the house from where the wifi router sits. The wifi router is also a TP-Link router in AP mode.
Looking for suggestions on a better configuration or different/additional equipment to improve upstairs coverage. Do I scrap the TP-Link wifi router for something that comes with 2/3 puck-style things? Is there something that I can just add to the current configuration, utilizing the unused upstairs network port to improve coverage upstairs?
Unable to erase or flash an ESP32-WROOM board
It was sold as an ESP32-WROOM board. Chip says ESP-32, underside of board is stamped with ESP32 DEVKITV1. Been working fine for a couple months, but this morning it was offline. It's getting power but no other communication. When I try to connect via any flashing tool I get
[Object.debug:362] Finished read loop Error: Couldn't sync to ESP. Try resetting.
I've tried every combination of button pressing before and during power on and erase/flashing. For it to stop out of the blue like this I wonder if it just somehow died. But, again, still getting power. Is there any other way to erase/program this board?
Fairly new to AliExpress, how to handle this situation
I'm in the US. Purchased electronics item, received, and it worked fine for a few days before I noticed an issue. It still works but at only 75% capacity. I emailed the seller and after a few hours, just decided to raise it to AliExpress. They immediately offered a 10% refund of $16 (not nearly enough) or a return, so I accepted the return.
Two days later the seller emailed me (I have not returned the item yet) and offered to replace the main board. I accepted that offer. They won't send it until I cancel the dispute. I went into my account and discovered that the seller had messaged me the day before (I am not getting any sort of notifications when messages arrive) and offered a full replacement or refund. I responded and said I would accept the main board, please send tracking number when shipped and I will cancel the dispute. The seller responded with 2 choices: cancel the dispute and they will ship, or accept the $16 and then send it to the seller, then they will ship the main board. I prefer not to cancel the dispute until I know the board is on the way.
The item arrived in something the size of a shoe box (the manufacturer's packaging) that was rolled in bubble wrap and stuffed into a Tyvek envelope. I still have the box but not the rest of the packaging so returning will be a little bit of a hassle.
What should my next move be? If I cancel the dispute can I reopen it at a later time if things go south?
This was a first and worst for me as a customer!
I prayed that the picture of my shopper was a mistake. It wasn't. This relic of a person pulls up in front of my house and starts laying on her horn. I go outside and she rolls down her window and says she can't carry the bags. So I get shoes on and start walking towards her car, she can barely get out and she's using a cane/walker thing. She opens the hatch and jabs it into my bags and says "Those are yours, don't touch this one" (the other bag that wasn't mine). What in the actual eff. Is it not a requirement that you can actually move and carry grocery bags to the door?
Subnet for a bunch of miners?
I have a dozen or so home miners running on my home wifi. I was thinking of putting them on their own subnet. My first half-hearted try was to create a guest wifi network and put them on that but by default my ISP's router blocks traffic between the main and guest networks and it appears there is not a way to allow it (although I do see a setting called "Private Subnet Access" that is set to Deny by default).
I still want to be able to access all of the miners by IP from my PCs on the main network as I have some scripts and dashboards.
I can create a new subnet on my router but there is an option titled "Set the interface(s) associated with the subnet" that lists a bunch of checkboxes and I'm not sure which to enable. Any guidance?
My DGB share payout has decreased by quite a bit. Is this a function of the new payout system?
My army of mini-miners chugging away, helping where they can, so it's nice to get anything out of them. And the weekly loyalty rewards are definitely nice. But each time a block is found, the share I see has steadily, consistently decreased.
Did the weekly rewards payouts go out yet (DGB)?
I think I saw that there was a weekly winner drawing already.
What's your take on this ugly top surface?
A1 combo is about a month old, filament was bought new as well. Hasn't really been warm/humid here yet. I've tried a few different settings based on the calibration project on Makerworld, but still getting ugly top layers. I clean the bed before/after each print but could it be adhesion on the edges?
Can you tell eBay you want to charge the buyer the discounted shipping rate and not the retail rate?
Slap me silly because I just realized that when I set my listings to charge shipping based on where the buyer lives they use the retail cost of postage, not the discounted rate we get through eBay or Pirate Ship, etc.
I have some items that are 2 oz when packed in a bubble mailer (too thick for an envelope) and it wants to charge someone in my same ZIP code almost $8 shipping, when it would cost me $5-ish. I was wondering wtf I haven't sold any of these in months when they used to be a top seller. The last couple of postage increases have really done a number on me.
Brightspeed fiber C4000XG router with a wifi extender
The fiber service comes into the house in the back corner and my office is in the complete opposite corner on the first floor. The upstairs is also the furthest away it could be. I added a TP-Link wifi extender which has been sufficient. But I am setting up some devices that are using the extender's wifi and I want to use DHCP reservation on the C4000XG. The IPs of the devices connected to the wifi extender are not being properly reserved. The C4000XG either lets me reserve them or gives an error that the address is already in use. Even when it does the reservation the device pulls a different IP when rebooted, not the one I reserved. I believe this is due to the extender. So I go into the router's client list to see what the router thinks the MAC addresses are but the client list doesn't give me the IP address or the MAC of any device connected to wifi. The MAC addresses I am entering in the router are coming from an app, Advanced IP Scanner. I've read that those MAC addresses may not be the right ones.
Is there a way to get this to work correctly?
I called a few weeks ago and asked them to please shut down the account with this specific email address. They said they would forward it to the fraud dept but said they could not tell me anything more. I am still getting notices about payments received and receipts, etc.
I believe this is the main reason why I got banned because I am fairly certain this person is involved in bad things. They said they would look into that as well. But they said they would not get back to me, that if my account were to be reinstated they would email me. No contact means no reinstatement.
What should I do about this person using my email address?
UPDATE: Tried chatting with support. They don't care. They told me not to worry since it's not me. WTF are they smoking? And we wonder why scammers love Paypal.
I'll be honest, I never thought to check the undersides and back of them. I move them whenever the shower is cleaned but they never get cleaned. They are the angled ones very popular on AMZ. What's a better option? I also have the flatter silicon ones that have very little angle but I noticed those don't secure the soap bars very well and the liquid tends to pool.
I was away for a couple days and came back to find almost half of my tiny miners not connecting to the pool. Site says systems are operational so not sure what's going on yet.
SOLVED: I wonder if the power blipped while I was away, I had to reboot all of my network equipment and now I am back with all miners. Strange that some were still plugging away and others could not connect.
I've been reading through many of the posts here but wanted to see if there was something that could address my specific question.
When I made something that has a substantial amount of top surface area, something like a 4x6 rectangle with just a few small pieces within that space, the top surface has very visible lines and if I change the viewing angle of the object you can see what appears to be areas that are shaded differently. The item did not warp, the bottom is very nice and smooth. I use what I think are the defaults in the slicer for all of the quality and speed settings. I typically do 5 top layers and 2 walls. Monotonic Line top surface pattern, rectilinear internal solid infill pattern and sparse infill pattern. Speed settings are the default for the .20mm Standard A1 profile.
I've had this printer for about a month but have been printing for 6-7 years and don't recall this being so noticeable on other printers. Thanks for your tips and suggestions!
