starting off by saying i believe i want sanforized raw selvedge denim with a buttonfly, i think i still need to figure out what wash/color and what style the fabric is woven in

Does brand matter? Are there bad ones and specifically good ones for my first pair?
What size should I get if i’m typically a size 28 but mostly wear a size 30 with a belt or just hope it stays up.
is it all only straightleg? or is there bootcut too? double knee?

Something seems to have stained the hat making it harder to read; i see a name that may be Luke Wik, Luke Wilk, or something along those lines, but I’m wondering if anyone else can read any other names which might help me figure out if it is a sports team or something.
